Chanticleer comes from Chaucer s Canterbury Tales and came to Coastal when the University was a member of the University of South Carolina system. A Chanticleer is a rooster who rules the barnyard with cunning and wit. His competitiveness never wanes as he battles to the end, using his brains to come out on top every time. 2 p.m. 2009 Coastal Carolina Volleyball www.goccusports.com 1
