The Hornets were led by Kemba Walker who finished the game with a team-high 30 points and nine assists, while bringing down seven rebounds. Michael Kidd- Gilchrist combined for a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets. The victory gave the Sixers eight consecutive victories over Charlotte. The 17-year NBA veteran holds career averages of 15.8 points, 5.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game in 1,198 regular-season contests. The French native joins the Hornets as one of only four players in NBA history to total 4,000 or more points and 1,000 or more assists in the postseason (Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James). Parker has played in the 2012 and 2016 Olympics for Team France and won a 2013 FIBA Eurobasket Gold Medal alongside fellow Charlotte teammate Nicolas Batum. THE EXTRA MILES The Hornets acquired the draft rights to the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Miles Bridges in a draft night trade. The 6-7 forward from Michigan State was a unanimous 2017-18 All-Big Ten First Team selection and he also earned 2017-18 consensus Second Team All-American honors. Bridges led Michigan State in scoring in scoring (17.0 ppg), ranked second in rebounding (7.0 rpg) and third in assists (2.7 apg) during the 2017-18 campaign. BIS-BACK BIYOMBO Charlotte acquired Bismack Biyombo from Orlando on July 8, 2018 as part of a three-team trade. Biyombo played in all 82 regular-season games with Orlando last season (25 starts), averaging 5.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and a team-high 1.2 blocks in 18.2 minutes per contest. With 95 blocked shots in 2017-18, he ranked 19th in the NBA. The seventh-year center began his NBA career in Charlotte after being selected by Sacramento in the 2011 NBA draft and sent to Charlotte in a draft night trade. Biyombo spent four years in Charlotte and remains fifth in Hornets history in career blocks (443) and blocks per game (1.6), and ranks seventh in career offensive rebounds (571). S MORE GRAHAM? The Hornets acquired Devonte Graham, the 34th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, from the Atlanta Hawks on draft night. The four-year Kansas player earned Big 12 Player of the Year and consensus First Team All-American honors after averaging 17.3 points, 7.2 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 37.8 minutes in 39 games played in the 2017-18 season. Graham He led the Big 12 and ranked ninth nationally in minutes played, ranked second in the Big 12 and sixth nationally in assists, ranked second in the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.6) and ranked third in the Big 12 in scoring. The Raleigh native set school single-season records for total assists (282) and minutes played (1,474), and was a finalist for the Naismith Trophy, Wooden Award and Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award after a season in which he was the only player in NCAA Division I to average at least 17.0 points, 7.0 assists and 1.6 steals with fewer than 3.0 turnovers per game.

THE BUZZ TWENTY-POINT TONY PARKER In the Hornets win over Detroit on 11/11, Tony Parker scored 24 points on 11-18 shooting, including going 2-2 from beyond the arc. Parker brought down three rebounds and dished four assists in the win. This is the second time in 12 appearances Parker has scored 20-or-more points this season, the most 20-point games he has had through his first 12 appearances since 2014-15. Parker has recorded six games with 10-or-more points this season, after having 21 such games in 55 contests in the 2017-18 season. GRAHAM IN GREENSBORO Rookie guard Devonte Graham has played three games while assigned to the Greensboro Swarm, Charlotte s G League affiliate. Leading the Swarm to a 3-0 start this season Graham averaged 28.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 34.7 minutes per game, including a career-high 38- point performance in the win over Grand Rapids on 11/10. The Kansas product is shooting 50% from the field and 42.9% from deep in the G League. Curry held the record for 9,491 days. CAREER THREE-POINTERS With 2 made three-pointers against the Phoenix Suns on 2/4, Kemba Walker became the franchise s all-time leader for three-point field goals made with 930, passing Dell Curry who had 929 in his ten-years in Charlotte. Walker currently sits at 1,069 three-point field goals. This came days after Walker set a franchise record for three-pointers made in a game when he recorded 9 on 13 attempts at Atlanta on 1/31 CAREER FREE THROWS On 3/28, Kemba Walker recorded five made free throws on five attempts, bringing his career total to 2,003, setting a new franchise record for career free throws. His first made free throw of the night brought him to 1,999 breaking Gerald Wallace s record of 1,998. Walker s record currently sits at 2,069 career free throws. SINGLE GAME THREE-POINTERS In the Hornets win over Memphis on 3/22, Kemba Walker recorded 46 points on 13-18 shooting from the field, including 10 three-point field goals on 14 attempts. Walker s 10 made three-pointers set a new franchise record for most three-point field goals in a single game, breaking his own previous record of 9 (at ATL, 1/31/18). Walker joined Golden State s Curry as the only players in the league to record 10 three-point field goals in a single game last season. 30-POINT GAMES With his 46 points against Memphis on 3/22, Kemba Walker recorded his 55 th career game with 30-or-more points, the most ever recorded by a Charlotte player, breaking Glen Rice s record of 54 such games. Walker currently has 60 such games in his eight-year career. Walker has recorded 4 games this season in which he scored 30-or-more points, which is the fifth most in the NBA. He has logged at least ten such games in each of the last three seasons, compared to recording five or fewer such games in each of his first four seasons. 20-POINT GAMES In Charlotte s defeat of Milwaukee on 11/1/17, Kemba Walker scored 26 points on 8-12 shooting, including 3-4 from three-point range and a perfect 7-7 from the free-throw line. This was Walker s sixth 20-plus point outing of the season and the 193 rd of his career, setting a new franchise record of 20-point games. He passed Larry Johnson, who held the record with 192. Walker currently has 246 career games with 20-or-more points and nine this season. Walker has had 50-or more such games in each of the last two seasons. FREE-THROW STREAK Kemba Walker entered the 3/28 game against Cleveland riding a streak of 43-consecutive free throws. Walker had previously made 43-straight free throws in 2016-17, as well as Dell Curry (done twice) and D.J. Augustin for the franchise s longest free-throw streak. With his first made free throw of the night, Walker became the only player in Charlotte history to make 44 straight, and extended his streak to 48 by the night s end. The seventh year pro connected on 53-straight free throw from 3/10 at Phoenix 4/1 vs. Philadelphia before missing a shot from the line. Walker s streak was the fifthmost consecutive free throws made in the league this season. 40-POINT GAMES Kemba Walker recorded his 10 th career game with 40-or-more points on 10/17/18, when he scored 41 against the Milwaukee Bucks, tying Glen Rice for the most 40-plus point games in a Charlotte uniform. OPENING NIGHT In Charlotte s season-opening loss to Milwaukee on 10/17, Kemba Walker scored 41 points on 15-29 shooting, including 7-13 from beyond the arc.
