All competitors enter the grounds at their own risk. NO dogs allowed. Pukahu Show is a qualifier for Horse of the Year Show. Committee reserves the right to alter the programme and prize money at their discretion. The committee reserves the right to amalgamate classes where insufficient entries are received. Yards available on the ground $30. Camping charge of $5 per truck or float for entrie show. Overnight camping allowed on grounds, food & coffee available. 8am-6.30 Sat/Sun Late entries 50% penalty and start first in Show Jumping and Show Hunter. Late entries in other classes 25% penalty. Scratching refund is minus 25% if notified by Thursday 6/09/18 and will be at the Committee's discretion. Alterations allowed at $2 per class. Entries only accepted when accompanied by full payment. Entry in this show confirms that you have read and accepted the RAS and Host Association Rules & Regulations applying to all events at Pukahu Show 2018. This includes the Health & Safety Act 1992. All objections or protests must be lodged in writing within an hour accompanied with a $50.00 fee. Judicial Committee No classes will be held up if competitors are late, where classes clash competitors will need to choose. Each exhibitor must supervise and control their animals at all times and shall be liable for any hazards created or accident, illness or damage caused by the action of themselves or their animals at the Equestrian SHOWING CONDITIONS The RAS Judges & Competitors Rule book (see www.ras.org.nz) sets out all the conditions that apply to the classes and sections offered. No competitor will be allowed to compete over jumps unless skull cap or hard hat is worn. All horses & ponies in the showing section must wear assigned bridle/backnumbers with the exception of Adult Riding Classes and Pleasure Horse. This show is a HOY Qualifier for Pony, Led Sport Horse, Pleasure, Hack and Show Hunter Sections. Novice Horses or Ponies not to have won more than 5 wins in A & P events. Page 1

Adults may ride novice ponies in novice classes only Height Certificates and Novice Performance cards must be carried at all times. You may only enter Show Hack/Riding pony class or Saddle Hunter horse/saddle Hunter pony class. You may not enter both. ESNZ Registration & Membership Requirements All horses and ponies competing in showjumping and show hunters must pay the $5 ESNZ Jumping Levy. Riders who are not current members of the ESNZ can compete at Introductory Level only at $10 for day (Saturday Classes 209 and 211 only). Horses registered with ESNZ but NOT currently registered for Jumping/Show Hunter (not including introductory level) must pay the ESNZ Casual Jumping Levy of $20 per show for all non series classes Height restrictions apply: Horses 1.10m max, Ponies 1.00m max. Riders must have a full ESNZ membership. All other classes, Riders must have a full ESNZ membership, horses must be fully ESNZ registered and have an ESNZ Jumping annual start. Judges will assess each horse individually with saddles removed. After they have been assessed Ridden horses to show true T.B. qualities. Horses to show a good walk as well as gallop (room permitting) Each competitor will register their Throughbred with RAS Head Office. Each RAS Registered Thoroughbred, once accepted by RAS Head Office, will receive a registration number and be entered into the RAS Livamol Thoroughbred Series. Placings 1st to 4th will accumulate points that will result in an overall series winner. Registered Thoroughbreds in this series will qualify for the Registered Thoroughbred class at Horse of The Year 2017.
