PRODUCT MISSION All professionals working at height know that a rescue situation is a risk and can become a challenge to handle. Our mission was to develop a device that is simple and safe to use under extreme loads and heights. At the same time user-friendly and easy to learn. All to eliminate as many risks as possible in evacuation and rescue situations. PRODUCT FEATURES DSEND 600+ is developed by working at height profesioanls. Every detail is optimized with respect to rescue operations in an emergency. DSEND 600+ is designed without any gears between the rope and the brake Direct Drive. DIRECT DRIVE DSEND 600+ is an automatic rescue decent device based on a new patented Direct Drive technology. A centrifugal brake transfer its torque directly to the rope without any intermediate gears. Its robust design is developed for heavy duty applications in the wind power industry. DSEND 600+ is available with a manual winch function based on a worm gear, activated when unfolding the handle. In manual mode the handle can be left unattended without causing any unintentional descents. DSEND 600+ takes safety to new heights. HEAVY DUTY & FULL SCALE TESTS! DSEND 600+ is compliant with the new standard EN341:2011. All tests are performed, approved and documented by the notified body, FORCE Technology in Denmark. DSEND 600+ is approved for a maximum load of 282 kg. This means that DSEND 600+ has been passing harsh dynamic descent tests with 352.5 kg loads. EN341:2011 requires a safety factor of 1:10 of the user maximum weight. Minimum breaking strength of the DSEND 600+ system is no less than 2820 kg. DSEND 600+ is a class B device, i.e. capable of multiple descents from up to 200 m and thereby designed for dealing with a brake energy of 1.5 10 MJ. That amount of energy will heat one kilogram of steel up to more than 1000 deg C. DSEND 600+ is therefore designed to cool itself and is equipped with special developed racing brake pads capable of high performance in high temperatures. All materials are metals except for the winch handle and front cover. This solution guarantees that moisture and water from condensation cannot occur as there is no air in the bag, and that wear from vibrating components rubbing together is almost impossible because by vacuum packing the equipment the parts are prevented from moving against each other. Since vacuum packing is unique and patented, there is no comparable solution on the market that can guarantee the same level of quality on the packed components. WINCH DSEND 600+ can serve as both a rope descender and as a manual winch. By unfolding the crank handle, cover DSEND 600+ in winch mode of salvation through manual up and descent. When the handle is flush works DSEND 600+ as an automatic rope descender for descent during evacuation. Only the position of the crank determines which mode DSEND 600+ is in. No other controls are used when switching between rope descender and pick mode. DSEND 600+ IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN AN EVACUATION VERSION, DSEND 600 (WITHOUT WINCH).
