All families are expected to volunteer during the season Ski club is a great family activity, not a daycare!
Why Trollhaugen Much cheaper than Wild Mountain Great ski/board instructors for the kids All the hills lead to the chalet for easier monitoring of the kids Very accommodating to us Also offer discounts on cross country skiing
Transportation Several options available to families Ride the bus both ways Ride the bus one way Don t ride the bus Bus leaves right after school 2:15 Bus picks up kids at SWJH -2:30 Bus returns to LILA 7:00-7:20 Rules on the bus Kids must sit down Kids may snack, but bus must remain clean
Lessons Lesson Groups Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & D-Team Trollhaugen will place kids in appropriate level All kids 2 nd grade and younger must take lessons Lessons are available for skiing and snowboarding Parents can join lessons for free as an observer Group sized depend on the number of kids at each level
Cost Lift Ticket Cost Full season (7 days a week no blackout dates) - $195.17 Mid-week season (Mon-Fri) = $128.71 Rental Cost Kids must have helmets!! Jr. rental (12 and under ski/board) = $130.82 Regular rental (13 and above ski/board) = $179.19 Lessons Ski or board (beginner-advanced 10 lessons) = $180 D Team (10 lessons) - $225 first child - $195 additional kids Bus Transportation Round trip = 1 kid = $125, family = $175 One-way = 1 kid = $75, family = $125

Schedule - Day of Skiing Morning put equipment in trailer, drop of gear bag inside east end door and drop off pass in office 1:30 trailer is loaded and volunteer transports equipment, gear and passes to Trollhaugen 2:15 bus chaperones direct kids to ski club bus and depart LILA 2:30 bus picks up kids at SWJH on the north side of the school 2:30 Chalet helpers organize gear bags and print lift tickets at Trollhaugen
Schedule - Day of Skiing 3:00 bus arrives at Trollhaugen, parent volunteers help kids get winter gear and boots on 3:30-5:00 kids meet instructors and take lessons (D lessons go until 5:30) 5:00 6:30 free ski/board and dinner (food is available for purchase or kids can bring food) 6:30 load the bus outside the main door to the chalet 6:45 bus leaves Trollhaugen 7:15 bus arrives at LILA

Spring break ski trip Past years have alternated between local and Bridger Bowl Committee member will get information out to the ski club members Responsible for booking your own trip 1 person will take the lead on organizing the trip
