THE SEASON: There are two different hunting seasons in Spain, one in the spring, the other in the fall.
The spring season is from April through July, with the best months being April, May and the beginning of June. The temperature then is still mild to warm, varying from 50 to 60 degrees F. During this period, we can hunt Pyrenean and Cantabrian Chamois, Roe Deer, Ibex and Wild Boar, as well as Mouflon Sheep in some areas. The hunting season in the fall, lasts from September through mid February. The ruting time of the game, occurs in the fall, with the spectacular Red Deer roar, from mid September to míd October, followed by the grunting of the Fallow deer, and the rut for Mouflon sheep. November is the prime time for the Ibex rut, as well as for Chamois. There are conflicting opinions as to what is the considered to be the prime time to hunt. The truth is, that during the ruting time, the game are extremely active the entire day There is a season chart for your convenience on our price list. PARALLEL PROGRAM FOR THE LADIES AND NON HUNTING COMPANIONS: Your non hunting companion is very important to CAZATUR, therefore we have developed special programs called HUNTOUR! to entertain them while you are hunting. Our Ranch is conveniently located from the Imperial City of Toledo, where they will enjoy fine local shopping for leather goods, jewellery and traditional potery, as well as many other beautiful handcrafted local products.
