Sponsorship has been sought for the event and prizes will be allocated in a draw based on your Squadding Number at the prize giving in the Old Sergeants Mess at 18:00. A full list of the Companies and Individuals who have supported this event can be found at the rear of this pamphlet on the day. Trophies will be provided for the overall winner in each Class. Cost of the shoot is 42. Start time on the day is 0745 in the 300-yard car park at the Butt 19 end of Century Range for a Safety Brief; first shot down the Range is planned for 0830. Lunch will be approximately 30 minutes with Butt Parties and competitors back in place by 13:15, last shot down Range will be no later than 17:30. If you are late you will miss your detail and may not get a chance to shoot. There is a lot of shooting to get through please plan ahead and make sure you bring all your equipment with you as there will be no time for you to return to the Car Park to collect missing gear. Safety Safety is everyone s responsibility. If while you are shooting during the match you hear someone shout Stop apply your safety catch and remove your finger from the trigger guard and await further instructions. If at anytime during the match you see an unsafe act or anything that poses a danger to you, your fellow shooters or anyone else please shout in a loud voice Stop, Stop, Stop. In the very unlikely event of an accident we have qualified First Aiders in each squad to deal with any injuries, they will be identified during the Safety Briefing. Hearing protection is to be worn by all shooters, safety supervisors and Range Officers on the firing point. Eye protection is recommended. Do not place your equipment on the firing line until called forward by the Range Officer. Do not dry fire, mount or aim your rifle unless you have been called forward onto the firing line. Either bolts are to be removed, Chamber Flags fitted to your breech or your rifle is to be cased when not on the firing line about to fire.

Rules 1. No HME Calibres allowed. 2. All competitors are required to be in possession of an in date Shooter Certification Card for the rifle type they are using. 3. All competitors will be required to do their turn pulling targets in the Butts. 4. Any foldable forward rest used must be attached to the rifle. Bench Rest or F- Class type rests are not allowed. Plain rear bags (no ears) are allowed as are rear monopods. Sandbags are allowed but you will have to provide your own. 5. Triggers minimum pull weight is 1500 grams, rifle must be fitted with a working safety catch and internal or detachable magazine of at least 5 rounds capacity. 6. Spotting Scopes and Binoculars are allowed to be used if required. 7. If you cross lane shoot during a stage you will be disqualified from that stage. 8. Targets with excess hits will be scored High/Low/High/Low/High etc more than 5 excess hits will qualify for a reshoot if time permits. The CRO s decision on whether time is available is final. 9. Scores are collected in the Butts and will not be transmitted to the Firing Point.

Course of Fire Stage 1: Cold Bore Starter Shot at 200 Yards, the target will be exposed for 10 minutes, you must engage the Cold Bore Starter with your first shot and failure to do this will result in disqualification from the stage. The Cold Bore Starter is a 1 MOA circle, the bonus Smilie within is a ¼ MOA, scoring is outward ie: if your shot touches the black circle it does not score, the smallest circle internal diameter is 0.4. The Smilies within the 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Scoring Circles are 0.22 if you hit one your score for that shot is doubled. You must engage the targets in order indicated by the Red Numbers. The size of your group for the Three Shot Grouper, shot after the Cold Bore Starter, will form a factor that will increase your score for this stage by between 0% to 10%. No shots will be marked back with spotting disks during or after this string. Your shot target will be removed for later scoring and returned to you at the end of the day.

Stage 2: Partially Obscured Targets Shot at 200 Yards, the competitors will remain on the firing point after Stage 1 has completed. 2 minutes after Stage 1 the targets will be exposed for 5 minutes during which each obscured target is to be engaged with 2 shots, hit the grey area to score 5 points, miss the grey and score 0, hit the black and lose 2 points.
