And, when our members get engaged in the process, we do it as well as anyone in the State of South Carolina. Twenty years ago, the leadership of SCPMA knew that in order to continue being successful at the State House, we also had to be successful at the ballot box. So in 1995, we made a commitment that a vibrant PAC Fund was crucial to the success and future of the petroleum & convenience store industry. For the last 20 years, we have been holding our annual PAC Golf Tournament. The tradition continues on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 to solidify our strong voice in Columbia. By participating and/or sponsoring this event, you help secure your future by supporting those who support your industry. Come and celebrate our 20th Annual Golf Tournament. We ve invited all the Past Presidents of SCPMA for the last 20 years to join us. We will enjoy a great meal, recognize the tournament winners and draw for some great prizes. If your company s policy prohibits your contributing to a PAC, See Page 3 for another option. This year, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to register early as we have to submit the names of ALL the attendees, which includes volunteers, non-golfers & guests to the Fort Jackson Gate prior to the day of the tournament. Otherwise, you won t be able to get in. Please fax (803-252-2385) or email (donna@scpma.com) your registration form to SCPMA by August 1, 2015. We look forward to seeing you Tuesday, September 1 at Fort Jackson. Chad Ingram SCPMA President The South Carolina Petroleum Marketers Association (SCPMA) Golf Tournament supports the Political Action Committee (PAC) Fund.

SCPMA MARKETERS DEFENSE FUND OPTION SCPMA realized that some of our larger member companies had policies that prohibited them from contributing to Political Action Committees (PACs). These prohibitions kept these companies from enjoying the fellowship and networking opportunities at our golf tournament. In response, our Budget Committee has established a Marketers Defense Fund within our operating budget to allow these companies to participate in our golf tournament with the guarantee that none of these dollars would be used for political purposes. Therefore, if your company is one that prohibits PAC contributions, you may still play and/or sponsor by making your check or credit card payable to the SCPMA MDF instead of the PAC. If you are taking advantage of this opportunity, please make sure that we are clear about your intentions. Thank You to Our Sponsors!
