8. Coaching Coordinators Report Report presented by Yvette Burden On Sunday 13 August we held Mental Skills and Centre Pass coaching courses, which concluded our courses for the season. It has been a fantastic season with 14 coaches completing their CCA Level 1 and 5 coaches who have already completed a number of the CCA Level 2 modules. I have sent a request to Netball Northern to book dates for next season s coaching courses starting on the 11 th of February 2018. We will re-run the modules for CCA Level 1 and CCA Level 2 so coaches will have the opportunity to complete both CCA Level 1 and 2 next season. If the suggested dates are accepted CCA Level 1 modules will conclude by the 5 th of April and CCA Level 2 modules will conclude by the 21 st of May 2018. Once the dates have been confirmed I will send it out to coaches in the database early next year and we will also advertise on our FB page and in the Post. Thank you to everyone that took the time to complete the courses and please feel free to contact me with any feedback or suggestions you might have for future courses. 9. Rep Liaison Officer Report Report presented by Tara Coe With Reps over now we are looking towards the 2018 netball season and what can be done to improve on previous years we are currently looking into a summer camp/training programme that will be rolled out mid- January onwards. There will be more information on this closer to the time once all the details have been thought over. Trial dates for next year will be set in the next couple of weeks once we know what the playing dates are. There will be a new process/way that trials are run and we are working on this over the off season to make it a more streamlined process. Our first Rep Prize giving was a great success with overwhelming numbers. Great to see so many of our parents turning up to support their girls. We had 95 people in attendance which was fantastic for our first run at this event. There are still a few certificates to be handed out from the night and I will get onto this as soon as I can. PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Year 7 Imogene Short Year 8 Kayley Matheson Year 9 Nicole Kempthorne Under 15 Briar Engelbrecht A massive thank you to all and here s to another great season next year. 10. Sponsorship Committee Report Report by Anne Walters Page 3 of 6

11. Zone Report Report presented by Eleanor Kitching 12. Kitchen Report Report presented by Kathy Maxwell My thanks go to all the Clubs for supplying food when required and fulfilling their allocated Canteen duty. A fantastic effort is put in by members week after week during the netball season, which does not go unnoticed. You are all absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. 13. Shop Report Report presented by Debbie Lieder The season has come to a close and we have a small amount of lollies and chocolate bars for sale. These will have expired by next Netball season. Drinks, we have quite a bit of Power Ade and flavoured water also, these also have expiry dates which will not last, but would be fine to sell at Twilight. Finals Day, had very small sales in terms of product so did not move much at all regardless of discounting the price for the drinks. In general purchases have been slow and as mentioned previously may have to do with games being played during the week. 14. General Business Twilight - Yvette Burden - Twilight kicks off on the 19 th of October and concludes on the 7 th of December (which is the week prior to the schools closing so we can avoid clashes with Prize giving and the year 8 dance). Games will be on Thursday nights starting at 6pm. Registration forms are available on the Waiuku Netball Centre s Facebook page or can be emailed to you on request if you text myself or Vicki (Yvette - 027 948 7762 / Vicki - 021 550 372). Registrations close on Friday the 6 th of October. The cost to register a team is $200 per senior team and $180 per junior team. Please be reminded that teams will have to provide their own umpires. Vicki has been trying to get some sponsors for prize s as we plan to have spot prizes given out each week. For finals night on the 7 th of December, we plan to have a fun dress up evening where prizes will be awarded to the top teams for each grade. A Twilight advertisement has gone into the sports section of this week s Post, and we have also advertised by means of Facebook and handing out flyers. Proposed Dates 2018 A show of hands failed to determine any preferred option. The meeting proceeded to vote by ballot on the proposals with Kym Cooper and Laila Martin acting as scrutineers. Voting removed all Options except 1 & 2 from any further consideration. The meeting voted by ballot a second time on the remaining 2 proposals i.e. Options 1 & 2. Voting indicated the preferred option was Option 1. Laila Martin proposed the Ballot papers be destroyed. Meeting agreed. Concern was raised re; the 75% majority as per the Constitution being unattainable. It was moved by Brian Perry to go with the majority (Option 1) Motion was seconded by Tara Coe. Meeting agreed that Option 1 be accepted. Awhitu and Waiau Pa abstained from voting. Page 4 of 6

**ADDENDUM** Waiuku Netball Centre Treasurers Report - August 2017 Bank Balances: - (31.08.2017) ANZ Bank NZ Ltd- $5,443.90 ANZ Term Deposit - $30,000.00 (matures 01.12.2017) BNZ Bank - $39,929.94 BNZ (Netfit/Jubilee) - $2,221.30 Term Deposits - $36,554.40 (matures 27.07.2018) Profit & Loss Statement Our Net Profit for the month of July 2017 shows a loss $2,354.00 The Income for the month is $2376.00 and our expenses were $4,339.00 Canteen Takings for the month was $1700.00 and Lolly Shop & Drink sales $1,267.00 Special Events - 60 th Jubilee & LDB Coaching Clinics Following on from my report in July, all expenses have now been accounted for. Although in the report you will see that under Special Events is showing a -$1171.00 loss, this doesn't take into account the $1500.00 kick start that the Waiuku Netball Centre put towards our Jubilee funds and celebrations. Therefore, even though we weren't out to make money it is always nice to be on the positive side making $329.00. Accounts Payables I have also attached an Aged Payables report of expenses to be paid and paid on September 20 th 2017 totalling $2915.74. Just a heads up also, we have had a Fee increase per Team through Senior and Year 7 & 8, per Player for Year 1 through to 6, Our Recreational Fee's per Team remains the same for now. Over the summer season, payments of our Monthly expenses will continue and reports will be sent to our Management Team over this time. I will also endeavour to have our End of Year Accounts for Review at our February Meeting, however it all depends on when the Accountant closes for the summer and when he comes back. Have a great, summer & see you in February. Page 6 of 6
