April 15, 2015 Dear Coach and Family, There are only a few days left before you depart for the sunshine state! We would like to congratulate you and your team on qualifying for The 2015 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds. This is 12 th Annual Cheerleading Worlds and the 9 th Annual Dance Worlds. This year we anticipate over 500 teams representing over 40 countries from around the World, making this year s Worlds even more intense than in previous years. Enclosed in this letter is some very important information for you to go over with your coaches, team members and families traveling to Orlando with you. PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY! We suggest you forward a copy of this letter to every team member and family. 1. Arrival into Orlando Airport transportation is provided by Disney s Magical Express. If you have not made your reservations for transportation, you must do so immediately (1-866-599-0951). You cannot use Disney s Magical Express without making reservations prior to your arrival. 2. Transportation (for competition days) is provided ONLY for those purchasing the Cheerleading or Dance Worlds Travel Package. NO ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION PASSES WILL BE SOLD. 3. Early Arrivals If your flight arrives in Orlando earlier than 2:30 pm, or you are driving and arrive before 4:00 pm, your hotel rooms may not be ready. The hotel will store your luggage for you until the rooms are available. Every effort will be made to have your rooms cleaned and ready upon your arrival. 4. Late Arrivals If your flight arrives at 10 pm or later, you will need to proceed to baggage claim and claim your luggage to carry with you on the bus. Disney s Magical Express does not provide luggage assistance for flights that arrive after 10 pm. The Worlds Registration may be closed by the time you arrive at the hotel. Please get your room keys and return the next day to register with The Worlds staff. 5. Registration/Check In Once you arrive at Celebrity Hall located at the Disney s All Star Resorts you will need to: Step 1: Enter Celebrity Hall and register with Disney where you will receive your hotel room keys. Step 2: Enter The Worlds Registration Tent and check in at the Championship Desk where you will pick up your Worlds Credentials/Lanyards, Walt Disney World Park Hopper Passes, schedules for the weekend as well as other pertinent information concerning the Championship. If you arrive at the Disney s All Star Resorts and have a balance due, no one from your group will be allowed to pick up Park Hopper Passes, lanyards, etc. until the balance is paid in full. Balances must be paid upon arrival at registration before the check-in process can begin. IMPORTANT ALL COACHES: All Coaches Meetings, picking up your VIP Gala Tickets, Coaches Gifts and turning in your USASF Event Roster for each team will ONLY be done at The Worlds Registration tent at Disney s All Star Resorts-Celebrity Hall. For Coaches staying at Disney s Pop Century Resort and Disney s Caribbean Beach Resort, we will have buses running from these resorts to and from Celebrity Hall from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on FRIDAY, April 24 th ONLY. NEW: ALL U. S. TEAMS attending The Cheerleading and Dance Worlds will go through an on-site roster verification with a USASF Official. If you have NOT YET scheduled your appointment, please contact your Regional Director immediately. Appointments will be held at The World Registration Tent at Celebrity Hall in the USASF Office located on the right side of The Worlds Registration Tent (door facing All Star Sports Resort). Note: For Coaches staying at Pop Century and Caribbean Beach, we will have buses running from these resorts to and From Celebrity Hall from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on FRIDAY, April 24 th ONLY. During the Verification Appointment You will meet with a USASF event official to review your team s final roster(s). During the review process your final roster will be checked against the roster that was certified by the event producer that awarded your bid(s). Any changes must follow the rules for eligible substitutions/alternates as outlined in the bid packet. In addition, the paperwork for any/all athletes that are not U.S. citizens, but participating on a U.S. based team, will be reviewed. Once your roster is verified by a USASF event official, it will be locked and considered your Official Event Roster for the World Championships and will be used during the Athlete ID Check prior to your team entering the warm-up room. Any changes made after this time must be reported to your Regional Director and verified. 6. Hotel Assignment and Address You will be housed at the hotel listed below: Disney s All Star Sports Resort 1701 West Buena Vista Drive Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 407-939-5000 7. NEW LOCATION: The Worlds Championship Office The designated office for the Championship is located in Celebrity Hall at Disney s All Star Resort. We are no longer using 5111. Event Schedule and Order of Competition The event schedule and order of competition is available on the usasf.net website. This schedule is still tentative and will change slightly. You will receive a final and detailed schedule once you arrive in Orlando.

9. Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Please choose ONE mandatory meeting that will be held in the Coaches Tent in front of Celebrity Hall. For Coaches staying at Disney s Pop Century Resort and Disney s Caribbean Beach Resort, we will have buses running from these resorts to and from Celebrity Hall from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on FRIDAY, April 24 th ONLY. The meeting times in the Coaches Tent in front of Celebrity Hall are listed below: Thursday April 23 2:00 pm / 6:00 pm / 10:00 pm Friday April 24 10:00 am / 2:00 pm / 4:00 pm / 10:30 pm Saturday April 25 10:00 am / 2:00 pm 10. VIP Gala (Coaches Reception and Awards Banquet) - (Mandatory for gym owner and/or coach) Friday, April 24th, 6:00-9:30 pm (Business Casual or Cocktail Attire) Buses will load at 5:30 pm at the Celebrity Hall bus loading area, Disney s Pop Century Registration Tent in the 70 s parking lot and Disney s Caribbean Beach Registration Tent in Aruba Parking Lot. It is going to take place in the World Showplace Pavilion at Epcot. NOTE: You must have your VIP Gala Ticket to get on the bus! This is a celebration for the gym owners and or coaches that are representing their sponsoring companies. Each of the Cheer and Dance World's teams are required to have preferably two, but at least one representative from their team present. There will be food, drinks, Disney Characters, entertainment, fireworks and much more. 11. Cheerleading Worlds Competition Venues All rehearsal and competition will take place in ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the HP Field House, Jostens Center, ESPN Sportscenter Arena South (tent) and the Champions Baseball Stadium. The Walt Disney World Park Hopper that you receive with your travel package includes 5 days admission into ALL Cheerleading Competition venues and all four sessions for FINALS starting with the Champions Baseball Stadium on Sunday April 26 th and in the HP Field House on Monday April 27 th. Family and friends not purchasing a Worlds Package or who DID NOT purchase a WDW Park Hopper through the USASF may purchase a one day admission ticket at the ESPN Wide World of Sports ticket booth. Discounted Multi-Day WDW Park Hopper tickets are available for purchase through the USASF in the Merchandise Store. WDW Park Hoppers, purchased through the USASF includes admission into all four of Disney s Theme Parks as well as 5 days admission into the ESPN Wide World of Sports and all four sessions for FINALS in the Champions Baseball Stadium April 26 th and in the HP Field House on Monday April 27 th. More details about Monday s FINALS below. General Admission Tickets ESPN Wide World of Sports ticket booth: Saturday, April 25 th : $40 All day access into all venues for the day. All General Admission single day tickets will go on sale starting Friday, April 24 th, at 6:30 AM. Sunday, April 26 th : $30 All day access into all venues except Session I Finals (LS & LSC) in Champions Baseball Stadium $30 Session I Ticket (Limited Quantity) All day access into all venues and Session I Finals (LS & LSC) in Champions Baseball Stadium NOTE: If the Session I Tickets sell out, there will be Fan Viewing (explained below) for those holding a Sunday general admission ticket. Session I tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 25 th at 7:00 pm 11:00 pm. All remaining Session Tickets will go on sale Sunday, April 26th at 6:30 AM. Monday, April 27 th : $25 All day access into all venues except Sessions I, II and III Finals in HP Field House $30 Session II, III or IV Tickets (Limited Quantity) All day access into all venues and only the Finals Session in HP Field House that was paid for and designated on the ticket. NOTE: If the Session II, III or IV Tickets sell out, there will be Fan Viewing (explained below) for those holding a Monday general admission ticket. Session II, III or IV Tickets go on sale Sunday, April 26 th at 9:00 PM 12:00 AM. All remaining Session Tickets will go on sale Monday, April 27th at 6:30 AM. FAN VIEWING IN HP FIELD HOUSE: The entrance for family and friends to get into the HP Field House FAN VIEWING area will be located on the lower level just OUTSIDSE of the HP Field House next to the Food & Beverage Tent. There will be a staging area where the USASF staff will be providing direction and coordinating each team s group of fans wanting a VIP s view of their team s performance. FAN VIEWING IN JOSTENS CENTER: There will be a staging area where the USASF staff will be providing direction and coordinating each team s group of fans wanting a VIP s view of their team s performance. The staging area in Jostens Center is located directly behind the music booth. Family and friends will be directed to the front of the stage where you may watch your team s performance. Immediately following their performance you will be directed to exit out of the side doors of Jostens. You may re-enter Jostens through the front entrance. FAN VIEWING IN CHAMPIONS BASEBALL STADIUM: If the Champions Baseball Stadium fills up, and there is no more room for spectators, there will be FAN VIEWING available. The staging area and entrance for the Champions Baseball Stadium FAN VIEWING will be located outside the gates on the 3 rd base side of the stadium. 12. Dance Worlds Competition Venue All rehearsal and competition will take place in Epcot s World Showplace Pavilion located between Canada and Great Britain. The Walt Disney World Park Hopper that you received with your travel package includes admission into Epcot. Family and friends who did not purchase a WDW Park Hopper through the USASF may purchase a one day park admission into Epcot at the front gate of Epcot on the day of the competition. Discounted Multi-Day WDW Park Hopper tickets are available for purchase through the USASF in the Merchandise Store. The USASF WDW Park Hoppers include admission into all four of Disney s Theme Parks as well as 5 days admission into the Sports Complex. Ticket Booths and gates for Epcot will open at 7:30 am both Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. NEW VENUE: Sr. Jazz and Junior Dance categories will now be held in the ESPN SportsCenter Arena North at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to transportation already provided to all competition venues from the resorts, the USASF will also be providing transportation between the ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex and Epcot where the buses pick up and drop our event participants and spectators. Performances orders for teams affected by this change will be arranged so that teams have plenty of time to transfer back to World Showplace. 13. Cheerleading Worlds Team Rehearsal Each team will be scheduled for a rehearsal times prior to their competition. After your scheduled rehearsal time, your team will be escorted to the lineup for their performance on stage. No family or friends will be allowed in the rehearsal area. IMPORTANT: ONLY USASF credentialed coaches will be permitted to enter the rehearsal area and back stage areas! ONLY Athletes on teams scheduled to be in the rehearsal will be permitted to enter the rehearsal area! NEW THIS YEAR: Prior to entering the warm up floor, the USASF staff will verify the identity of each athlete on your team against your Official Roster for The Worlds Championship. 1. Athletes will line up in alphabetical order by last name. (same order as the roster) 2. The athletes will present their photo identification* to the USASF Official 3. The USASF official will verify the name against the roster and the photo *Acceptable forms of Photo Identification are ANY ID issued by a 3 rd party that would have to VERIFY the identity of the person before making the Identification Card, such as: Driver License, State ID, Passport, VISA, School ID, amusement park pass, etc. NOTE: International competitors on a US based team will show their VISA or Passport. All teams competing at the Jostens Center will report to the Warm up Check in Tent on the lower level OUTSIDE of Jostens. Teams will locate the Jostens Center Warm Up Check in Tent by following the signs and walking around the OUTSIDE of the Jostens Center, past the Jostens Center entrance and down the steps to the Warm Up area check in tent where all coaches will have to show their USASF Credentialing ID Cards. The Worlds Staff will direct you where to go next. All teams competing at the ESPN Sportscenter Arena South, will report to the Warm up Check in area located on the back right side of the Arena. Teams will walk around the outside right side of the ESPN Sportscenter Arena South between the ESPN Sportscenter Arena North and South and enter through the back door. All coaches will have to show their USASF Credentialing ID Cards. The Worlds Staff will direct you where to go next. 14. Dance Worlds Team Rehearsal Each team will be scheduled for a rehearsal time prior to their competition. After your scheduled rehearsal your team will be escorted to the holding area for their performance on stage. No family or friends will be allowed in the rehearsal area.

IMPORTANT: ONLY USASF Professional Member coaches will be permitted to enter the rehearsal area and back stage areas! NEW THIS YEAR: Prior to entering the warm up floor, the USASF staff will verify the identity of each athlete on your team against your Official Roster for The Worlds Championship. 1. The verbal critique will be an assessment throughout the performance and will NOT have a score associated with it. We hope you find this information educational and a useful tool when coaching your teams onto finals. 15. Music YOU MUST bring 3 copies of your music on CD with you to Orlando. These copies are critical to have with your representative reporting to the music table, in the event of an emergency. We will not be downloading music to a laptop this year. ONLY CDs may be used! IPods or computers WILL NOT be permitted. Adults must play the music! 16. NEW: Celebration Party at Disney s Hollywood Studios : Monday evening we have planned a Celebration Party at Disney s Hollywood Studios from 10:00 pm 2:00 am. The park will be closed to the public. The following Activities and Attractions will be available for your group s enjoyment. NOTE: The USASF and Disney have worked very closely together to create a very fun and safe atmosphere. We have increased the security and law enforcement to the same level as Disney s Senior Grad Night. NO liquids will be allowed on the buses or into Disney s Hollywood Studios. Activities and Attractions: LIVE DJs in three different areas of the park: 1. Epic Stunt Theater Indiana Jones Live DJ (Club Music) 10:00pm 2:00am * 17 years of age and older ONLY ID will be required to get extra wrist band for entry * ID checks for wrist bands will be located just inside the main turnstiles to the left and in front of Indiana Jones Theater 2. Walt Disney World buses DO NOT shuttle to Disney s Hollywood Studios this evening due to the park being closed to the public. Those purchasing extra wristbands must provide their OWN TRANSPORTATION. * Please note that these attractions will have height restrictions. Each group of minors attending the Celebration Party must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (21 years or older) in order to be allowed into the Party. 17. Solicitation - Please pass this information on to your choreographers. Last year we had numerous complaints from the US and mostly the International teams and coaches expressing how inappropriate it was for Event Producers and Choreographers soliciting their business and interfering with the focus of the Worlds athletes and coaches. This is just a reminder to all Event Producers and Choreographers that The Worlds is a neutral zone and solicitation is prohibited. The USASF/IASF once again asks for ALL to

honor the "neutral zone" concept at this coming 2015 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds. Violation will result in immediate restrictions to the Cheerleading and Dance Worlds event and accompanying activities. 18. Photography and Video Policy - Because we take the safety and security of our participants seriously, our policy is to protect your privacy and that of all participants. Audience use of telephoto lenses and video cameras, including video capable digital cameras/camera phones will not be allowed. Unauthorized users of such equipment will be escorted from our event. Only official press from newspapers, magazines, etc. will be allowed to shoot pictures during our event with professional equipment. All press requests will be taken seriously and a contract must be signed prior to clearance being given. Action Moments Photography AMP will have FOUR Cameras on every Worlds stage. Every Worlds athlete and coach will receive a FREE Photo Disc of all pictures taken during their performance(s) following the conclusion of their division. Coaches or Gym owners will receive them when they pick up and sign for their score sheets. 21. Television Coverage The 2015 Cheerleading Worlds will be nationally televised on the ESPN and ESPN2 networks. Because of the format of the show, not all finalist teams or winners of all divisions will be shown on the telecast. 22. Online Coverage on USASF.net - Be sure to tell all of your friends and family that there will be coverage on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of The Cheerleading and Dance Worlds on www.usasf.net or at worlds.usasf.net. Results will be posted throughout the weekend, as well as behind-the-scenes photos capturing the event. 23. WORLDS VIDEO COVERAGE Tell all your friends, family and program members that we will be streaming live from ALL VENUES on all 3 DAYS! They can catch every single routine by viewing the live streams as the event unfolds. Cheerleading Worlds Coaches Hospitality Suite hosted by Inside Cheerleading Magazine Inside Cheerleading is hosting a Coaches Hospitality Suite located in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Baseball Stadium. The entrance will be located across the athlete s to the HP Field House warm up room. Coaches must have their Worlds Credentials to get in. The suite will be open from 10:00 am 10:00 pm Sunday and 10:00 am 9:00 pm Monday during the competition. 25. Promotional Selling of Merchandise - Selling of promotional merchandise during the event, or on Disney property, by unauthorized persons is not permitted. This includes the arenas, the hotels and the parking lots. These policies are enforced at all times.... Please note that it is illegal to sell merchandise or services in any area of hotels not designated for such activity without the proper permits. Any person, including but not limited to spectators, athletes, parents, coaches, gym owners, event producers

and choreographers found to be selling merchandise on the premises during the USASF Cheerleading and Dance Worlds may have their ticket revoked and their merchandise confiscated. 26. Worlds Coaches Event Credentials/Lanyards Coaches who purchase The Worlds Travel or Commuter Packages will be issued Worlds Coaches Credentials/Lanyards. Cheerleading Worlds Coaches Credentials WITHOUT a Walt Disney World Park Hopper Pass - will be sold at the USASF Desk in the Worlds Registration Tent at Celebrity Hall ONLY on April 22-24, 2015. This Coaches Credential will provide entry into all Wide World of Sports Complex venues and all four FINAL sessions on Monday. These credentials will only be sold to participating program s coaches providing their USASF Coaches ID Card. ONLY one Coaches Credential per USASF Coaches ID Card will be sold. PLEASE NOTE: Coaches must be a USASF Credentialed Coach, up to Level 5 (5 stars) in at least one category (tumbling, stunts, tosses), to enter the warm-up room/area at The Cheerleading Worlds. NEW DEADLINES FOR COACHES CREDENTIALS: ALL Coaches must be credentialed before they arrive at The 2015 Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando to avoid an administrative fee for late credentialing. Coaches who do not get credentialed before they arrive at The 2015 Worlds, will need to contact Angela Jones at the USASF to schedule an appointment to be Credentialed after they arrive in Orlando. There will be an additional $500 On Site Administration Fee added to the Credentialing Fee to be USASF Credentialed by appointment at The 2014 Worlds in Orlando. Coaches who do not get credentialed before they arrive at The 2015 Worlds and do not make an appointment to be credentialed in Orlando, will have to pay an additional $200 On Site Walk Up Administration Fee added to the $500 On Site fee and the normal Credentialing Fee to be USASF Credentialed. NO EXCEPTIONS! Appointments may be made until the close of business on April 20th, 2015 to avoid the additional walk-up fee. Worlds Practice Floor Rentals - Cheer and Dance teams attending the World Championship have the opportunity to rent practice space on Thursday, April 23rd and Friday, April 24th between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm. Details are as follows: * Reservations for practice floors must be made in advance. Please go to the USASF.net website under the WORLDS tab to sign up. * The practice venue will be located at the Convention Center (Veracruz Exhibit Hall) at Disney s Coronado Springs Resort. * Transportation is being provided for those staying on The Worlds Travel Package staying at All Star Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort and Pop Century Resort. Commuters will provide their own transportation. 28. NEW: Cheerleading Worlds Spotter Policy: I. SPOTTER POLICY IN REHEARSAL AREAS: 1) Senior Divisions - The Cheerleading Worlds WILL NOT provide spotters in the rehearsal areas. Senior Division teams may provide their own spotters in the rehearsal area or elect not to use spotters. The use of additional spotters is not mandatory and will be at the discretion of the Senior Division team coach or gym owner. USASF will have spotters available upon request in all rehearsal areas. 2) International Open Divisions - The Cheerleading Worlds WILL provide spotters in the rehearsal areas. It is not an option for team competing in the International Open and International Open Coed Level 5 and Level 6 divisions. Definition of Additional Spotter: Individuals on the rehearsal floor provided as a safety precaution to spot certain elements of a routine. The additional spotters must be USASF Member Athletes or USASF Credentialed Coaches. Additional Spotters Guidelines: (Must be USASF Member Athletes or USASF Credentialed Coaches) 1) Should only be used during the stunt, pyramid, and/or basket toss sections. Additional spotters are provided for added safety and should stand at the back of the floor when not spotting those sections. 2) Should not touch, assist, or save skills being performed. Additional spotters should only be used to prevent a fall to the competition floor. Any touch, assist, or saved skill will be given a major fall deduction. 3) Should be dressed so that they are presentable, professional, and distinguishable from the performing athletes. Program

provided additional spotters should not wear clothing similar to the performing team s uniform. 4) Should not dress or act in a manner that distracts from the athletes and their performance. 5) Should be at least 18 years old and familiar with spotting the skills of the performing team. Note: To provide the safest competitive environment, teams should not attempt skills beyond their ability level. Il. SPOTTER POLICY ON MAIN COMPETION FLOORS: 1) The Cheerleading Worlds WILL provide spotters for all main competition floors for ALL divisions.
