Rules & Regulatins fr Seafarer participatin in MISL 2017 Sprts Categries Details (Rules and Regulatins inclusive) (1) Table Tennis This is a Singles Turnament nly Separate categries fr Males and Females Further subdivided as per age abve/belw 45 years as n 1st Sept 2017 a) The game f Table Tennis will be played up t 11 pints and all games will be Singles nly. The winner is the player wh first scres 11 pints, unless bth players scre 10 pints (called deuce). Then a game will be wn by the first player t gain a tw pint lead. b) Each cntest will be f 3 games (Best f 3 wins!) c) The referee will d the tss by hiding the ball in a palm and asking ne team member t chse. The winner f the tss serves first r chses a side f the table t play frm. Sides will be alternated after each game d) The ball must be kept in an pen palm psitin at the time f serve and n spin at serve is permitted. Service shuld be abve the table e) Players are entitled t practice n the match table fr up t 2 minutes immediately befre the start f a match f) In case f a debated pint the referee decisin shall be hnured g) Each player has 2 serves and the service cntinues t alternate between ppnents h) The Winner & Runner Up f the finals will be awarded i) Get yur wn TT rackets TT balls will be prvided j) Wear sprts shes Draws will be based n the number f entries and the draw table will be prvided nline (www.misl.in) at-least 7 days befre the event. (2) Indr Rwing Rules & Regulatins fr Seafarer participatin in MISL 2017 There are 2 categries f Turnaments (Cuple & Singles ) Cuple Turnament 2 players (Seafarer + Spuse) Singles Turnament (Seafarer - Male and Female separately N age criteria) The sprt will be cnducted n standard Indr Rwing Machines which will be secured n a stage/platfrm The Machines will be aligned with a sftware (displayed as bats n a screen) that will recrd the time taken t rw and als display same fr reference n a large screen s that the rwers and the audience can witness the race As yu rw the bat mves frward! a) Cuple Relay is a 500 metre race b) Each member f the team will rw fr 250 metres, leave the machine and allw the next rwer t take ver. The switch ver time WILL be cunted in yur final timing c) Singles is a 500 metre race (ne stretch, n breaks) d) Fastest timing wins! e) In case f a dead heat (same timing) in the qualifying runds bth teams mve t the next rund f) In case f a dead heat (same timing) in the final jint winners will be annunced g) Participants must wear sprts clthing (track suits/ shrts and tshirts) and flat sprt shes (n heels will be allwed) h) The rwing machines will be available fr a perid f abut 60 minutes befre the starting f the event fr any practice sessins that may be desired by the participants. Participants are encuraged t arrive early at the venue. Rules & Regulatins fr Seafarer participatin in MISL 2017 3 Carrm This will be a Singles Turnament (Seafarer Male and Female Separate Categry N age criteria) a) Each cntest will be f 3 games/bards (Best f 3 wins!) The winner f a game/bard will be the player wh pckets all the cins f his clur ( black/white) frm the bard b) The referee will d the tss by hiding the 2 cins (black and white) in each palm and asking ne team member t chse. The winner f the tss (wh chses white) strikes first. Strikes will be alternated after each game/bard c) The first player breaks using his/her index finger by flicking the striker in a frward directin (shting backwards is nt allwed at any pint in the game) twards the center frmatin f Carrm pieces. d) If the player pts a carm piece they play again, after replacing the carrm striker between their baseline. This cntinues until they fail t pt ne f their pieces, then it is the ppnents turn. e) Carrm pieces can nly be struck directly if it is nt tuching the player s baseline r situated behind the base line. If this is the case, the player must hit the carrm piece by rebunding the carrm striker ff any side f the bard r any ther carrm piece n the bard in a frward directin. f) The queen/ red piece may be pcketed at any pint after the first piece has been pcketed, but befre the last carrm piece is pcketed. g) If the red piece/ queen is pcketed, the player must then pcket ne f their wn carrm pieces in the same turn. Shuld the player fail t pcket a piece, then the queen must be replaced in the centre f the carrm bard. h) The winner is the first player t pcket all f his/ her carrm pieces (& the queen if nt already pcketed). i) NO Sideways r Backward shting will be allwed

Rules & Regulatins fr Seafarer participatin in MISL 2017 4) Chess This will be a Singles turnament (Seafarer separate categries fr Male and Female Age N criteria) a) The frmat will be Time Bund & Pints Based Further, It will be a Single game Knck Out pattern b) The duratin f each game will be a maximum f 30 minutes (Unless the king is lst (checkmate) within 30 minutes) c) Each mve will have t be carried ut in a maximum f 2 minutes based n the timer d) If there is n Straight Winner (Lss f King) the winner will be decided n the basis f pints scred by killing the ppnent s chess pieces The referee will cunt the pints n belw basis: Pawn - 1 pint Knight (Hrse) - 3 pints Bishp (Camel)- 3 pints Rk (Elephant) - 5 pints Queen - 9 pints e) If there is a tie The players will set a fresh bard and the first player t scre 8 pints will be declared the winner f) The winner and runner up f the finals will be awarded g) Fr any debate pint the referee decisin will be hnured Draws will be based n the number f entries and the draw table will be prvided nline (www.misl.in) at-least 7 days befre the event. Rules & Regulatins fr Seafarer participatin in MISL 2017 (5) Darts This will be a Dubles Turnament (Yu & Anther seafarer can participate as a team) Yu are NOT permitted t carry yur wn darts a) The game frmat will be High Scre frmat played ver 3 runds (in each game) b) Each team will get 3 runds alternatively (Ttal darts t thrw will be 18 per team per game) Play begins at zer and the ttal f the player's three darts is added t the previus ttal each rund. Highest scre ttaled in 3 runds WINS c) The frmat will be knck ut pattern d) The referee will decide the first team f thrwers by tssing a cin The team that wins the tss will thrw first (One player fllwed by the ther f the same team) e) Each player in the team will get 3 darts t thrw (ttal 6 darts per team per rund) f) The aim is t try and scre the highest pints by the end f 3 runds (ttal). The black utermst area f the dart bard will NOT cunt fr any scre The shaded areas will cunt as a single scre as that marked n the bard The thin uter "dubles" ring cunts as tw times the number hit and the thin inner "triples" ring cunts as three times the number hit.
