Event 1 Four Police Officers from the Metropolitan Police are cycling the 200 miles from London to Manchester between 6th & 9th November 2012 arriving at Greater Manchester Police HQ on the 9th Nov 2012. Event 2 A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officer is walking the entire GMP Force boundary (135 miles) over three days in March 2013 Event 3 A Greater Manchester Police officer is trekking across the Sahara Desert over eight days in March 2013 Event 4 Four Prison Officers from Wakefield (HMP) Prison are cycling from John 'o' Groats to Lands End, when they reach Manchester this will coincide with a Rugby Match between Greater Manchester Police & The Prison Service. If each dojo managed to raise a minimum of 10 per dojo (more if they wish) it would make the efforts of those completing the events worthwhile.
