1. SCHEDULED ONE DAY PLAYING CONDITIONS (50 OVERS) IWMCA Playing Conditions 1.1 Laws of Cricket The Laws of Cricket (2017 Code) shall apply except as varied below. 1.2 Duration of Matches and Competition Teams 1. Matches shall be of one day s scheduled duration. The matches will consist of one innings per team and each innings will be limited to 50 six-ball overs. A minimum of 15 overs per team shall constitute a match. (Final: a minimum of 20 overs per team). 2. A team shall consist of eleven (11) nominated players. Each player will wear the approved clothing as per IWMCA Manual. 3. Each captain shall list their team in writing on the prescribed form to one of the umpires prior to the toss. No player may be replaced after the nomination without the consent of the opposing captain. 4. Nomination of players and results submitted to MyCricket as per the IWMCA Manual. 1.3 Hours of Play and Intervals 1. There will be playing sessions and intervals as per below:- a. Session 1 = 10.00am - 1.30pm b. Lunch = 1.30pm 2.00pm c. Session 2 = 2.00pm - 5.30pm 2. The innings of the team batting second shall not commence before the time for the scheduled interval between innings unless the team batting first has completed its innings. 3. Two drinks breaks per session shall be permitted, after overs 17 & 34. The provisions of Law 11.8 shall be strictly observed except that under conditions of extreme heat the umpires will permit extra intervals for drinks. An individual player may be given a drink either on the boundary edge or at the fall of a wicket, on the field, provided that no playing time is wasted. No other drinks shall be taken onto the field without the permission of the umpires. Any player taking drinks onto the field shall be dressed in approved clothing and equipment 4. Provision is allowed for up to thirty (30) minutes of additional playing time, should time be lost to weather. 1.4 Length of Innings Penalties for the fielding team shall apply for not bowling the required overs by the scheduled or rescheduled time for the cessation of each session (see 1.17). 1.4.1 Uninterrupted Matches 1. Each team shall bat for 50 overs unless all out earlier. A team shall not be permitted to declare its innings closed. 3

IWMCA Playing Conditions 2. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the first session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled. At the discretion of the Umpire(s) the bowling team shall be penalized at the rate of 0.25 of a point per over not bowled by the scheduled cessation time. 3. If the team batting first is dismissed in less than 50 overs, the team batting second shall be entitled to bat for 50 overs. 4. If the team fielding second fails to bowl 50 overs by the scheduled cessation time, the hours of play shall be extended until the required number of overs has been bowled or a result achieved. At the discretion of the Umpire(s) the bowling team shall be penalized at the rate of 0.25 of a point per over not bowled by the scheduled cessation time. 1.4.2 Delayed or Interrupted Matches 1.4.2.1 General: 1. The object shall always be to rearrange the number of overs so that both teams have the opportunity of batting for the same number of overs. A team shall not be permitted to declare its innings closed. A minimum 15 overs (20 overs in Final) have to be bowled to the team batting second to constitute a match. The calculation of the number of overs to be bowled shall be based on an average rate of 14.28 overs per hour in the total time available for play. If a reduction of the number of overs is required, any recalculation must not cause the match to be rescheduled to finish earlier than the original cessation time. This time may be extended to allow for one extra over for both teams to be added if required. 2. If the team fielding second fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled cessation time, the hours of play shall be extended until the overs have been bowled or a result achieved. 3. The team batting second shall not bat for a greater number of overs than the first team unless the latter has been all out in less than the agreed number of overs. 4. Any uncompleted over included in the overs already bowled shall be regarded as a complete over. 5. Fractions are to be ignored in all calculations regarding the number of overs to be bowled. 1.4.2.2 Delayed or Interruption to the Innings of the Team Batting First 1. If the number of overs of the team batting first is reduced, a fixed time will be specified for the completion of the first session, as calculated by applying the provisions of clauses 3.2 and 5.2.1 (a). 2. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the first session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled. See Appendix 6 1.4.2.3 Delay or Interruption to the Innings of the Team Batting Second If there is a suspension in play during the second innings, the overs shall be reduced at a rate of 14.28 overs per hour for time lost. However, should the innings of the team batting first have been completed at least 40 minutes prior to the scheduled or rescheduled time for commencement of the interval then any calculation 4

IWMCA Playing Conditions relating to the revision of overs shall not be effective until an amount of time equivalent to that by which the second innings started early has elapsed. See Appendix 7 1.5 Restrictions on the placement of fieldsmen 1. At the instant of delivery, there may not be more than 5 fieldsmen on the leg side. 2. In addition to the restriction contained above, further fielding restrictions shall apply to certain overs in each innings. The nature of such fielding restrictions and the overs during which they shall apply (hereinafter referred to as the Powerplay Overs) are set out in the following paragraphs. 3. Two semicircles shall be drawn on the field of play. The semicircles shall have as their centre the middle stump at either end of the pitch. The radius of each of the semicircles shall be 30 yards (27.43 metres). The semicircles shall be linked by two parallel straight lines drawn on the field. The fielding restriction areas should be marked by continuous painted white lines or 'dots' at 5 yard (4.57 metres) intervals, each 'dot' to be covered by white plastic or rubber (but not metal) disc measuring 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter. During the first Ten (10) overs the fielding restrictions, only two fieldsmen shall be permitted outside this fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery, and during overs Eleven (11) to Forty (40) four fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery, overs Forty-one (41) to Fifty (50) five fielders permitted outside of the circle except for Powerplay overs where only three fielders are permitted outside of the circle. 4. In the event of an infringement of any of the above fielding restrictions, either umpire shall call and signal 'No Ball'. 5. Powerplay Overs are to be taken as outlined below: a. The first block of Powerplay Overs (block of 10 overs for an uninterrupted match) shall be at the commencement of the innings b. For the second block of Powerplay Overs (block of 5 overs for an uninterrupted match), shall be taken at the discretion of the batting captain. Once a team has nominated a Powerplay, the decision cannot be changed. It shall be the onus of the captain to inform the umpires of their intention to take a Powerplay. The umpires shall not ask or remind the captain regarding their option to take a Powerplay except as required in clause 6.6 if in the opinion of the umpires neither captain has advised them of their intention to take a Powerplay it will be assumed that no Powerplay is in effect. c. Should the captain choose not to exercise this discretion, the block of Powerplay Overs will automatically commence at the latest available point in the innings (i.e. in an uninterrupted innings, at the start of the 36 th over). 6. In circumstances when the number of overs of the batting team is reduced, the number of Powerplay Overs shall be reduced in accordance with the following table. For the sake of clarity, it should be noted that the table shall apply to both the 1 st and 2 nd innings of the match. 5

IWMCA Playing Conditions Innings Duration Number of Power Play Overs Sequence Taken 15 6 4+2 16 6 4+2 17 7 4+3 18 7 4+3 19 8 5+3 20 8 5+3 21 8 5+3 22 8 5+3 23 9 6+3 24 9 6+3 25 9 6+3 26 9 6+3 27 9 6+3 28 10 7+3 29 10 7+3 30 11 7+4 31 11 7+4 32 11 7+4 33 12 8+4 34 12 8+4 35 12 8+4 36 12 8+4 37 12 8+4 38 13 9+4 39 13 9+4 40 14 9+5 41 14 9+5 42 14 9+5 43 15 10+5 44 15 10+5 45 15 10+5 46 15 10+5 47 15 10+5 48 15 10+5 49 15 10+5 8. Where, in an interrupted innings, on resumption the actual number of Powerplay Overs (prior to the interruption) is no longer achievable, the recalculated number of Powerplay Overs for that innings will be the closest achievable whole number (subject to observing clause 6.9 below). The number of Powerplay Overs for the second and/or third block may be adjusted accordingly if the 6

IWMCA Playing Conditions recalculated number of Powerplay Overs for the first and/or second block has already been exceeded. 9. Each block of Powerplay Overs must commence at the start of an over. 10. If an innings is interrupted during an over, the status of that over (that is whether it is a Powerplay over or not) must be retained when the over is completed. If play is interrupted during a Powerplay and on resumption the total number of Powerplay overs has already been exceeded, then the fielding restrictions will be lifted immediately. Note that this is the only circumstance under which the Powerplay status can be changed during an over. If following any interruption, it is found on resumption that the recalculated number of Powerplay overs remaining exceeds the number of overs to be bowled in the innings, then the Powerplay(s) will commence at the start of the next over. 11. At the commencement of the discretionary block of Powerplay Overs, the umpire shall signal such commencement to the scorers by rotating his arm in a large circle. The umpire shall also indicate to the fielding captain before any signal is made that the batting team has chosen the Powerplay. 12. A light or other indicator, if so available, shall be displayed on the scoreboard whenever the Powerplay Overs are being bowled, along with the number of overs remaining in the current block of Powerplay Overs. 13. The public address system, if so available, shall be used to keep the spectators informed 1.6 Number of Overs per Bowler 1. No bowler shall bowl more than 10 overs in an innings. 2. In a delayed or interrupted match where the overs are reduced for both teams or for the team bowling second, no bowler may bowl more than one-fifth of the total overs allowed. 3. Where the total overs are not divisible by 5, one additional over shall be allowed to the maximum number per bowler necessary to make up the balance. 4. In the event of a bowler breaking down and being unable to complete an over, another bowler will bowl the remaining deliveries. Such part of an over will count as a full over only in so far as each bowler's limit is concerned. 5. The scoreboard if available shall show the total number of overs bowled and the number of overs bowled by each bowler 1.7 Free Hit After No Ball The delivery following a No ball (Law 21) shall be a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it. If the delivery for the free hit is not a legitimate delivery (any kind of No ball or Wide), then the next delivery will become a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it. For any free hit, the striker can only be dismissed under the circumstances that apply for a No ball even if the delivery for the free hit is called a Wide. Changes to fielding positions are only permitted if a different batsman is on strike for the free hit delivery. The bowler's end umpire will signal a free hit by (after the normal No Ball signal) extending one arm straight upwards and moving it in a circular motion. 7

1.8 Bowling of High Full Pitched Balls IWMCA Playing Conditions Law 41.7 shall apply. A no ball called by either umpire under this law will also incur a free hit (see 1.7). 1.9 Short Pitched Deliveries A bowler shall be allowed to bowl one fast short pitched delivery per over. 1. A fast short-pitched ball is defined as a ball, which after pitching, passes or would have passed above shoulder height of the batsman standing upright in his normal guard position at the crease but not clearly above his head. 2. The umpire at the bowlers end shall advise the bowler and the batsman on strike when one fast short pitched delivery has been bowled. 3. In addition, for the purpose of this regulation, a ball that passes clearly above head height of the batsman, other than a fast short pitched ball as defined in clause 8.2 (a) above, that prevents him from being able to hit it with his bat by means of a normal cricket stroke shall be called a Wide and will also count as the one allowable ball above shoulder height for that over. 4. In the event of a bowler bowling more than one fast short pitched delivery in an over as defined in clauses 8.2 (a) and 8.2 (c) above, the umpire at the bowlers end shall call and signal No ball on each occasion. A differential signal shall be used to signify a No ball for a fast short pitched delivery. The umpire shall call and signal No ball and then tap the head with the other hand. In addition when the ball is dead, the umpire shall caution the bowler, inform the captain of the fielding team, the batsmen at the wicket and the other umpire of what has occurred. This caution shall apply throughout the innings. 5. If there is a second instance of the bowler being no balled for bowling more than one fast short pitched delivery in an over, the umpire shall repeat the procedure in clause 8.2 (d) above and advise the bowler than this is his final warning. 6. Should there be any further instance by the same bowler in that innings, the umpire shall call and signal No ball and when the ball is dead, direct the captain to take the bowler off forthwith. If necessary the over shall be completed by another bowler, who shall neither have bowled the previous over or part thereof nor be allowed to bowl the next over or part thereof. 7. The umpires will then report the matter to Ipswich &West Moreton Cricket Association which shall take whatever action is considered appropriate against the captain and bowler concerned. 8. This regulation is not a substitute for Law 41.6 (Dangerous and Unfair Bowling) that umpires may apply at any time. 1.10 Wide Bowling - Judging a Wide 1. Umpires are instructed to apply a very strict and consistent interpretation in regard to this Law in order to prevent negative bowling wide of the wicket. 2. Any off side or leg side delivery that in the opinion of the umpire does not give the batsman a reasonable opportunity to score shall be called a Wide. 3. As a guide, a delivery that passes outside the leg stump without any contact with the striker's bat or person shall be a Wide unless the ball passes between the striker and the stumps. 8

IWMCA Playing Conditions 4. As a guide, a ball passing the batsman on the off side more than 75cm wide of the off stump shall be called a Wide. Lines shall be drawn from the popping crease to the bowling crease, parallel with the return crease, measured 17 inches (43.18 cm) from the return crease on both sides of the wicket. 1.11 The Ball See Appendix 4 The brand of ball must be one manufactured by Platypus, Kookaburra, Duke, Keith Dudgeon or Gabba. The ball shall be four [4] piece red leather. The weight to be 156g. In the event of a ball becoming wet and soggy as a result of play continuing in inclement weather or it being affected by dew and in the opinion of the umpires being unfit for play, the ball shall be replaced for a ball that has had a similar amount of wear and improved colour. Either bowler or batsman may raise the matter with the umpires and the umpires' decision as to replacement or otherwise will be final. The umpires shall retain possession of the match ball(s) throughout the duration of the match when play is not actually taking place. During play, umpires shall periodically and irregularly inspect the condition of the ball and shall retain possession of it at the fall of a wicket, a drinks interval or any other disruption in play. 1.12 The Result A result can be achieved only if both teams have had the opportunity of batting for at least 15 overs (preliminary matches), 20 overs (Final), unless one team has been all out in less than 15 overs or unless the team batting second scores enough runs to win in less than 15 overs. All matches in which both teams have not had an opportunity of batting for a minimum of 15 overs, shall be declared No Result. In matches in which both teams have had the opportunity of batting for the agreed number of overs, the team scoring the higher number of runs shall be the winner. If the scores are equal, the result shall be a Tie and no account shall be taken of the number of wickets that have fallen. 1.13 Calculation of the Target Score utilising "Duckworth-Lewis Method" 1. If, due to suspension of play (including abandonment of a match) after the start of the match, the number of overs in the innings of the team batting second has to be revised to a lesser number than originally allotted (minimum 15 overs in preliminary matches and 20 overs in the final), then a revised target score (to win) should be set for the number of overs which the team batting second will have the opportunity of facing. 2. This revised target is to be calculated using the "Standard Edition" of the Duckworth-Lewis method. This will not give exactly the same answer as the 'Professional Edition' that is used in professional matches. (Use of the Professional Edition requires proprietary software which is not yet available to the general public.) However, this application will provide a good indicator of the state of play in a match, and the Standard Edition is valid in non-professional matches (or where the professional software is not available). In the rare event of a software device being unavailable or software failure is encountered, manual calculation using a calculator and a hard copy of the method can be utilised. 9

IWMCA Playing Conditions 3. Due to the size of the "full" explanation and the "tables" contained in the Standard Duckworth- Lewis Method, a copy is NOT included in these set of rules. 4. There are many internet resources available to scorers & officials for the download to their PC, laptop, android tablet or iphone. Of the Standard Duckworth-Lewis Method calculator, hardcopy including 'over-by over' & 'ball-by-ball' tables. 1.14 Points a. The following website is a suggestion for the free download of an up-to-date accurate "Standard" Duckworth-Lewis Method Calculator. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.rfear.android.dlcalc&hl=en b. The following website is a suggestion for a hard copy download of an up-to-date accurate "Standard" Duckworth-Lewis Method explanation & a copy of the tables. http://www.icccricket.com/rules and regulations.php Unscheduled One Day Match: Win - 12 points plus incentive (No Bonus Points) Tie - 4 points each plus incentive (No bonus Points) No Result - 4 points each plus incentive points (No bonus Points) Loss - 0 points plus incentive points (No bonus Points) Scheduled One Day Match: Win - 8 points plus bonus points Draw or No Play - 2 points each Tie - 4 points each Bonus Point - 1 (Run rate 1.25 times that of opposition) Additional Bonus Point - 1 (Run rate twice that of opposition) See Appendix 2 1. The team that wins the match and achieves a run rate of 1.25 times that of the opposition shall be awarded one bonus point. For example, the team shall receive a total of 9 points (8 points for win, 1 bonus point). 2. The team that wins the match and achieves a run rate of twice that of the opposition shall be awarded an additional 1 bonus point, which is in addition to the bonus point achieved in clause 12.2 (a). For example, the team shall receive a total of 10 points (8 points for win, 1 bonus point and 1 additional bonus point). 3. A team's run rate will be calculated by reference to the runs scored in an innings divided by the number of overs faced. 4. Where a team is all out, the number of overs to be used is the maximum number of overs that team was otherwise eligible to face. 10

IWMCA Playing Conditions 5. Part overs are to be considered whole overs for the purposes of calculating Bonus Points. 6. Where matches are shortened and targets revised through the Standard Duckworth-Lewis Method, bonus run rates and bonus defensive targets are derived as a function of the revised target score (less one run) and maximum overs. 1.15 Net Run Rate 1. A team's net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored by that team throughout the competition, the average runs per over scored against that team throughout the competition. 2. In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota of overs, the calculation of its net run rate shall be based on the full quota of overs to which it would have been entitled and not on the number of overs in which the team was dismissed. 3. Part overs are to be considered whole overs for the purposes of calculating Net Run Rates. 4. Only those matches where results are achieved will count for the purpose of net run rate calculations. 5. Where a match is abandoned, but a result is achieved under the Standard Duckworth-Lewis Method, for net run rate purposes the team batting first will be accredited with the Par Score of the team batting second on abandonment off the same number of overs faced by the team batting second. 6. Par Score of team batting second; (score of team batting first) x (overs faced by team batting second/ overs faced by team batting first) Rounded down 7. Where a match is concluded but with the Standard Duckworth-Lewis Method having been applied at an earlier point in the match, for net run rate purposes the team batting first will be accredited with 1 run less than the final Target Score for the team batting second off the total number of overs allocated to the team batting second to reach the target. 1.16 Qualifying for the Final (If Applicable) 1. The two teams with highest number of points at the completion of the preliminary matches shall play in the final. 2. In the event of the teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the final will be determined as follows: a. The team with the most number of wins and ties, then if required b. The team with the most number of wins over the other team(s), then if required c. The team with the highest number of bonus points, then if required d. The team with the highest net run rate. 3. In a match declared no result, run rate is not applicable. 1.17 Penalty for not Bowling Required Overs 1. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled. 11

IWMCA Playing Conditions Unless determined otherwise by the Match Referee, after consultation with the match umpires and the scorers, for each over short of the required number of overs at the scheduled or rescheduled cessation time, 0.5 shall be deducted from the team's match points. The over in progress at the scheduled time for cessation of the session shall count as a completed over. 2. If the team fielding second fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled or a result achieved. Unless determined otherwise by the Match Referee, after consultation with the match umpires and the scorers, for each over short of the required number of overs at the scheduled or rescheduled cessation time, 0.5 shall be deducted from the team's match points. The over in progress at the scheduled time for cessation of the session shall count as a completed over. 3. For the purpose of determining penalties, the following allowances shall be taken into account: a. Actual time taken for treatment of an injured player on the field. b. Actual time taken for a player leaving the field in the event of serious injury. c. Actual time taken to dry a wet ball. d. Actual time taken to a maximum of 4 minutes for each drinks break in excess of two per innings in conditions of extreme heat (see clause 3.3). 4. There shall be no allowances given for: a. Wickets falling. b. Drinks Intervals. c. Sightscreen changes. 12

2.4 Length of Innings IWMCA Playing Conditions Penalties for the fielding team shall apply for not bowling the required overs by the scheduled or rescheduled time for the cessation of each session (see clause 1.13). 2.4.1 Uninterrupted Matches 1. Each team shall bat for 40 overs unless all out earlier. A team shall not be permitted to declare its innings closed. 2. 3. If the team batting first is dismissed in less than 40 overs, the team batting second shall be entitled to bat for 40 overs. 4. If the team fielding second fails to bowl 40 overs by the scheduled cessation time, the hours of play shall be extended until the required number of overs has been bowled or a result achieved. At the discretion of the Umpire(s) the bowling team shall be penalized at the rate of 0.25 of a point per over not bowled by the scheduled cessation time. 2.4.2 Delayed or Interrupted Matches 2.4.2.1 General: 1. 2.4.2.2 Delayed or Interruption to the Innings of the Team Batting First 1. If the number of overs of the team batting first is reduced, a fixed time will be specified for the completion of the first session, as calculated by applying the provisions of clauses 3.2 and 5.2.1 (a). 14

IWMCA Playing Conditions 2. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the first session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled. 2.4.2.3 Delay or Interruption to the Innings of the Team Batting Second If there is a suspension in play during the second innings, the overs shall be reduced at a rate of 14.28 overs per hour for time lost. However, should the innings of the team batting first have been completed at least 40 minutes prior to the scheduled or rescheduled time for commencement of the interval then any calculation relating to the revision of overs shall not be effective until an amount of time equivalent to that by which the second innings started early has elapsed (see 2.13). 2.5 Restrictions on the placement of fieldsmen 1. At the instant of delivery, there may not be more than 5 fieldsmen on the leg side. 2. In addition to the restriction contained in 6.1 above, further fielding restrictions shall apply to certain overs in each innings. During the first Ten (10) overs the fielding restrictions, only two fieldsmen shall be permitted outside this fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery, and during overs Eleven (11) to Thirty (30) four fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery, overs Thirty-one (31) to Forty (40) five fielders permitted outside of the circle. 4. In the event of an infringement of any of the above fielding restrictions, either umpire shall call and signal 'No Ball'. 5. Where play is delayed or interrupted affecting the innings of the team batting first and the total number of overs and the total number or overs is reduced, the number of overs in regards to fielding restrictions shall be reduced proportionally. For the sake of clarity, it should be noted that the 2nd innings the fielding restriction shall be the same as the 1st innings. 2.6 Number of Overs per Bowler 1. No bowler shall bowl more than 8 overs in an innings. 15

IWMCA Playing Conditions 5. The scoreboard if available shall show the total number of overs bowled and the number of overs bowled by each bowler 2.7 Free Hit After No Ball The delivery following a No ball (Law 21) shall be a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it. 2.8 Bowling of High Full Pitched Balls Law 41.7 shall apply. A no ball called by either umpire under this law will also incur a free hit (See 2.7). 2.9 Short Pitched Deliveries A bowler shall be allowed to bowl one fast short pitched delivery per over. 16

IWMCA Playing Conditions 7. The umpires will then report the matter to Ipswich &West Moreton Cricket Association which shall take whatever action is considered appropriate against the captain and bowler concerned. 8. This regulation is not a substitute for Law 4216 (Dangerous and Unfair Bowling) that umpires may apply at any time. 2.10 Wide Bowling - Judging a Wide 1. 4. 2.11 The Ball See Appendix 4 The brand of ball must be one manufactured by Platypus, Kookaburra, Duke, Keith Dudgeon or Gabba. For First and Second Division the ball shall be four [4] piece red leather. For Third and Fourth Division the ball shall be Two (2) piece red leather. 2.12 The Result A result can be achieved only if both teams have had the opportunity of batting for at least 15 overs (preliminary matches), 20 overs (Final), unless one team has been all out in less than 15 overs or unless the team batting second scores enough runs to win in less than 15 overs. 17

2.13 Calculation of the Target Score utilising "Duckworth-Lewis Method" IWMCA Playing Conditions 1. 3. 2.14 Points a. Bonus Point - 1 (Run rate 1.25 times that of opposition) IWMCA Playing Conditions Additional Bonus Point - 1 (Run rate twice that of opposition) See Appendix 2 1. 5. 2.15 Net Run Rate 1. 19

2.16 Qualifying for the Final (If Applicable) IWMCA Playing Conditions 1. 2.17 Penalty for not Bowling Required Overs 1. If the team fielding first fails to bowl the required number of overs by the scheduled time for cessation of the session, play shall continue until the required number of overs has been bowled. 20
