18-25 August BULLETIN 4 (Incorporating Further Regulations) Special Stage Rally - For Classic and Modern Competitions Permit Number 818/2508/01 Issued in Alice Springs CAMS Stewards approved 18 August 2018 Legend: SR Supplementary Regulations 1. ENTRY LIST AND CLASS LIST (SR 301.3) The Official Entry List and list of classes is attached. FURTHER REGULATIONS Competitors are reminded of the procedure for finalising classes: SR301.3 Classes (1) Each vehicle group will be divided into classes, and each class will stand if three or more entries pass Scrutiny in the class, otherwise the class will be amalgamated with the next higher or lower capacity class. (2) Where more than five starters are in a Group an award will be made to second place; where more than ten starters an award will be made to third place. (3) Classes will be declared at 1800 hours on Saturday 18 August and will be posted on the Official notice board at that time. Crew members are invited to comment on the list within two hours of posting and the list finalised will be used in the Official scores for Legs 1 and 2. (4) A protest against the class listing in the scores for Legs 1 and 2 must be lodged no later than one hour of the crew s arrival at the end of Leg 2 and if upheld the list will be adjusted. Additionally, if advice from a crew member of a vehicle that his/her vehicle s classification in a group or class is incorrect is not received by this time, and the vehicle is subsequently found to be incorrectly classified at any time thereafter, it will be removed from the class list and will not be eligible for a group or class award. 2. DAY 1 SUNDAY REPORT & START TIMES The Start Order with Report Times and Start Times for Day 2 Monday is attached. Competitors are reminded to collect a bulletin on arrival: SR110.3 Bulletins Bulletins will be issued at the start of each Leg at the start control and upon arrival crews are required to enquire of the Leg start Officials for a copy (refer to Article 608.2). Competitors are also reminded that Lasseters will have coffee/tea and a selection of munchies available for purchase in the Convention Centre each morning. 3.
