Requirements Each team needs one team parent Team parents must fill out Volunteer Application Form in Blue Sombrero. Complete on-line Safe Haven Concussion training- highly recommended 9
Team Parent Role Team Parent s role is to allow coaches to focus on coaching. Communication: Primary liaison between team and league Communicate league information to all parents Communicate information from coach to all parents Coordinate team volunteers Assist coach with administrative tasks (email/communication, volunteers, website, calendar etc). AYSO kids zone pledge 10

Game day Set up and take down - first & last team to play on the field - Instructions has been emailed to coaches. - start setup 30-45 minutes before scheduled start. - Both teams playing the match are to set up and take down. **Community park U6 U 8 goals at the West side of the AYSO building outside the double doors to the equipment room. Goals must be returned to the same place. If rain, call rainout hotline at 979-1344 by 8:00 am. Check back throughout the day for updates on cancellations. 15

Safety Goal safety Goals can ONLY be moved by adults 18 years and older. Kids cannot be anywhere near the goals (including shooting on the goals) until they are properly anchored with 4 stakes per goal. Safety Safe haven training: child & volunteer protection program. AYSO Policy : An adult coach or parent of same sex must be present at practice. Select Season Program following the Fall Season 10U, 12U, 14U, 16/19 U divisions. Opportunity to improve their skills in a more competitive environment. Games start in Early January and run through March. Select teams then stay together to play in several tournaments through the end of May Davis World Cup (Memorial Day Weekend) Applications will be open soon due by mid-october. 23
Team Obligations Regional Tournament 12 U /14U/16U Field Marshals, gophers, scorekeepers, etc to be provided by the teams. Slots will be scheduled and must be filled by teams. Every team will have volunteer assignments. 24
Davis Enterprise Reporting The Davis Enterprise has a weekly soccer page in the sports section of the paper. Stories from each team, 10U and above can be sent to sports@davisenterprise.net Deadline Tuesday by noon. Published Wednesday AYSO round up Length & content: 75-100 words, should be to the point, focus on kids who contributed. Submit action photos. 25
