2017 National Jamboree 5 Caption: Thousands of Scouts are excitedly waiting for the first Jamboree Show to start. Photo taken by Ryan O. The 2017 National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia at the Summit Bechtel Reserve was an amazing event to be at. It was 10 days packed with fun anything you could imagine from white water rafting to Zip Lines. Operation Arrow( Order of the Arrow Jamboree Staff) provided support on both the Garden Ground Mountain as American Indian Village Staff, Service Corps, Display and Aerial Sports staff. These volunteers made Jambo that much better.

Chiefly Speaking By:Evan Schroeder 6 Brothers, We have accomplished so much this year. I am really proud of each and everyone of you for helping to make 2017 a success. A special thanks goes out to the Chapter Leadership, Committee Chairman and Lodge Officers for investing so much time and effort into the program. I am truly thankful and honored to have been given the chance to serve as Chief. This past year has been one that I won't soon forget. From all the amazing people I have had the chance to get to know and work with, to the positive impact we have made on the Northern Lights Council and Scouting as a whole. You guys made it great! In our Brotherhood we are called to cheerfully serve, and that's exactly what we did. As I look back at the many past years and Chiefs of our Lodge and all of the exceptional achievements, I am confident we will look back on this year and remember the good we have done and the mark we made together. I am super excited to pass the torch and watch Ryan and his Officer Team take the Lodge to new heights in 2018. We have done a great job so far, and I know we are only going to get better. Good luck guys, Happy new Year, and I look forward to seeing you all succeed. Your Brother, Evan
