Good Morning Narwhals! MC Announcements Today is Thursday, September 06, 2018 and it is A Day on your schedule. #1 This year s summer trip is to Seattle and the Pacific NW. Some adventures include; white water rafting in Leavenworth, snowshoeing on the top of Mount Rainier, and kayaking in the San Juan Islands. Educational highlights include; a visit to the tidal pools of Olympic National Forest and a visit to the Future of Flight Aviation center. Students will also learn about local endemic habitats while serving with a conservation program. Interested? Pick up a flyer in the library. #2 Are you a natural born leader? Do you enjoy public speaking? Are you interested in helping your school and local community? Then Student Council is for you. If you are interested in joining, Mrs. Busby and Mrs. Oswald would like to meet with you. Please report to the library on Thursday, September 6 th at 3:10PM #3 Heart and Sole registration flyers are available outside of Miss Lascelle s room on the third floor, Room B316. #4 Math Help is available after school on Tuesdays starting 9/18. Please see Ms. Babcock in A112 for a permission slip. #5 Marsh Creek Math Counts will begin on Thursday, September 27th. A group of female STEM Academy students organize the club, run cool experiments and facilitate awesome scientific investigations and activities all while you get to make new friends and learn in a creative, hands-on way.

The Fall session of the Scientista Club will meet every TUESDAY from 3:30-4:30 starting September 11th through November 13th. Please pick up a permission form and sign up in Mrs. Young s room B264. Make sure you return your permission slip as soon as possible, as the club will be capped for the Fall session at 30 participants. #7 Fall Intramurals Monday's- Soccer - starting Sept.10 - first 80 students will be accepted Tuesday's- Mat Ball - starting Sept. 11 - first 60 students will be accepted Thursday's- Mat Ball - starting Sept. 13 - first 60 students will be accepted You may only sign up for 1 day of Mat Ball. 3:30 to 4:30 (You must have a ride home or a pass for activity bus) You may pick up permission slip in Mr. Cummings Room B320 #8 Homework Club is available after school on Tuesdays starting 9/18.
