The Event What is Lendy Cowes Week? Since 1826, Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK s longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for over 1000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. Lendy Cowes Week offers a fantastic mix of competitive sailing on the water and social activities off the water both for the 8500 competitors and over 110,000 spectators that come and watch the sailing event. The event is open to everyone with amateur sailors competing alongside Olympic heroes and World Champions. The eight-day racing programme encompasses people from all walks of life, of www.cowesparade.co.uk all ages and abilities and with a range of boats as diverse as the crews that take part. The week s excitement and activities culminate on the Friday night in one of the UK s largest and most impressive fireworks displays seen in the UK. What is Cowes Parade Village? The dates of the Cowes Week event are Saturday 4 th August Saturday 11 th August 2018 inclusive. We request that all stands are open from 10am until 7pm daily to ensure that both visitors and competitors are able to enjoy your products. Set up day is Friday 3 rd August 2018 and we ask that all stands are cleared out between 7pm and 10pm on Saturday 11 th August
Trade Stands and Site Space Trade Stands Type 3m x 3m 3m x 6m 3m x 9m Middle End Island 6m x 6m All trade stands include a white banner with blue text above your, marquee, cassette floor, carpet, and double socket If you are planning to retail then you will need a Street Trading Licence at 100 + vat Site Space Only or Product Placement There are a very limited number of site space only positions available from 5m x 5m up to 10m x 10m. Please contact us for a bespoke quote. Electric and marquee quotes are available on request. Setting Up You are able to set up your stand on Friday 3rd August and it will be possible to unload one vehicle for a limited period. There is an event carpark 100m from the site. Decoration You are able to accessorise and design your stand as you wish providing you remain within your 3m x 3m tent
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Car Parking there is no car parking on Cowes Parade itself. You will be able to drop off items at your tent but you will not be able to stay there. The nearest carpark is a 5 minute walk away and is called Northwood House. Weekly passes are usually around 50 (2017 price) Waste/Rubbish/Recycling it is the responsibility of the trader to keep the area in front and behind your stand clean and tidy. Bins (recycling and general) are available throughout the Parade Village and are emptied daily Water Points there is one water point available at Cowes Parade Village if needed Electricity all retail s are provided with 1 x double 13 amp socket. If you require anything else then please contact us for prices Accommodation and Camping many traders choose to camp over the 9 day event. HOW TO BOOK Step 1: Please complete the expression of interest form at the end of this prospectus and email to beth@taylorevents.co.uk Step 2: Taylor Events will contact you with a booking form if your application is successful and send you terms and conditions and an invoice Step 3: If applicable, Taylor Events will send you a Street Trading licence form and electric request which needs to be completed and emailed back alongwith a copy of your Public Liability insurance.
