However, this has never actually happened. It would be a first if it did. But just in case, remember, NOTHING is worth getting upset over. You re here to enjoy yourself and we want everything to run smoothly! If you got paired with someone to your disliking, just (please), go with the flow (GWTF). A round of golf doesn t last forever (we ve come close, but that s it.). GWTF when it comes to us pairing your roommate. We don t know all of the personalities of everyone but we hope that everyone will treat each other with kindness. Interacting with different personalities, although sometimes trying, can turn out to be a pleasant experience. We cannot make room changes. You can, however, GWTF and make a new friend. We re a singles organization for golfers and a golf organization for singles. Fun, fellowship and fairways will always define what we re about! So make the best of YOUR time with us, and if there s anything YOU can do to make someone else s time more enjoyable, please go for it! The reward comes back to you in countless ways. and welcome to ASGA s 2nd adventure to Hawaii! Would you believe we re finally here? Can you believe how beautiful this place is? Can you believe you ll be here for the entire week? We had an excellent response to this event. Like last year, we are gathered in the best golf spot in the world. You can beat the scenery, the weather and the envy of your friends and family back home. ASGA has matured over the years and as result of our reputation for putting on events with great value to our members, we got a good turnout again. I m happy you re here and I m happy you ll have an opportunity to meet ASGA members from other chapters around the country. Please take some time reading this program. READ THIS RIGHT AWAY! Range balls are included at each event, everyday. Get to the courses early. We play golf on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The days in between are free days to do whatever you d like. We ll huddle at the cocktail party and see if any of you wish to do things as a group. Also, if there is some interest in playing golf on additional days, please see Tom Alsop. When you do play golf, please be ready to go at your designated tee time. These courses are packed by golfers just like us and they want to make sure we re making all of our tee times. Therefore, if your foursome is not ready at the time given in this program, your group will be put to the rear of our group s set of tee times. Since the golf courses will probably be full every day, please be patient but also keep up with the group in front of you. If more than a hole is open in front of you, your group may be asked to skip a hole which will disqualify your group from team prizes. The Waikoloa Golf Courses (Beach and King the courses we ll play Monday and Wednesday) will keep your golf clubs overnight ready for play on Wednesday. Just leave them on your cart when you finish playing on Monday. If, however, you plan to play golf on the non-group days, be sure to handle your own clubs. You ll need to take your clubs to Mauna Kea. Mulligans were not sold for this event so we ll give everyone ONE mulligan on the front nine and one on the back nine. However, please don t take one on the #1 tee box! No mulligans can be used for closest-to-pin competitions. There will be prizes for closest to the pin winners for men and women as well as 1st and 2nd place team prizes each day. If you play in a 3-some, rotate the fourth shot. Prizes will be given when the group next gathers as a group. Included in your package are four (4) breakfast tickets. See the note at the top of the back page regarding the use of these. Also, you ll receive two (2) drink tickets for the cocktail party. We cannot give out phone numbers or addresses of members attending this event, so if you want their number, just ask them, not us.
