Minis make us proud at Letchworth festival The Minis season has now started with the Letchworth festival that took place on 1st October. This was the first festival and matches this season for the U10, U11 and U12s. The following week saw the U7, U8, U9 give it a go too. As with any festivals, we won some matches convincingly (17 tries to none) and lost some others. All players were eager to play competitively after a month of training and you could feel the intent and see the motivation on all faces. Well done to all the players for upholding the RFU core values at the festival and doing Hitchin Rugby Club proud. Thanks and well done to all the coaches for their support and refereeing performances. Coaches now have a base line following that first assessment of the players and can tailor the next few training sessions to work on further improvements. Good luck to all this season!
