There is significant additional parking west of the stadium at 1 st & 185th throughout the Shoreline Center complex and additional street parking BUS PARKING Please park buses on the grass field on the west side of the stadium. Students may be unloaded at the grass field.

FIELD The Shoreline Stadium surface is a third year 2.5 Revolution monofilement, FieldTurf synthetic turf field. It is not crowned. The field is surrounded by an eight lane all weather track. PRE-TOURNAMENT PRACTICES Schools may contact the tournament manager to request pre-tournament practices for Thursday, November 15. All requests must be made by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 14. At that time the tournament manager will determine a practice schedule, and notify qualified schools as soon as possible. Schools should not expect more than a half field for an hour, between the hours of 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 15. LOCKER ROOMS HOME SCHOOL will use the South locker room. VISITORS will use the North locker room. GAME JERSEYS HOME SCHOOL will wear DARK COLORED JERSEYS VISITING SCHOOL will wear WHITE JERSEYS TEAM PHYSICIAN/ATHLETIC TRAINER The tournament medical authority will be provided by ATI Physical Therapy. If a team will have a team physician and/or athletic trainer in attendance, please include their name/info on MyWIAA pass list. The tournament medical authority will make the final determination regarding return to play. OFFICIALS Four (4) WOA certified soccer officials will be assigned to each match. Officials are selected by their association to work at this tournament and are assigned by the WIAA. The officials will be head referee and two assistant referees along with a fourth official who acts as the timer and scorer. Official assessors may also be assigned. The assessor will provide the WIAA with an independent evaluation of the tournament as a WIAA event. OFFICIAL SCORER The official scorer will verify each team s complete lineup, record all scores, record the number and reason for all players cautioned and disqualified and will obtain the head referee s verification of a score. The fourth referee is the official scorer. GAMES COMMITTEE The Games Committee will include the following: Tournament Manager Don Dalziel Head Official TBD WIAA Representative (If Present) Coach not involved in the tournament The Games Committee, composed of a least three of the individuals listed above, will hear and decide on any protest and/or appeal.

PRE-MATCH OFFICIAL'S AND COACH S MEETING The tournament manager will meet with the participating schools head coaches, officials, assessor (if assigned), and WIAA representative (if present) one hour before their first match starting time on Friday. The agenda will include: introductions, medical aspects, warm up procedures, prematch procedures (including introductions, starting time, tie-breaker procedures, review rule issues, instruction for sideline ball holders, games committee, sportsmanship, and other items of interest). No meeting will be held on the second day. ROSTERS & SQUAD SIZE One copy of the roster is to be provided by the participating school to the game and/or tournament manager prior to each game. This should include: 22 Players; No roster changes allowed once the Semi Finals have begun. 6 Designated school personnel (Coaches, managers, statisticians, etc.) 1 medical (must be licensed health care provider) SIDELINES & TEAM BENCH Both team benches will be placed on the SAME sideline (East side of the field) and on the TRACK surface. Benches are separated by 10 yards and off the turf. A fourth (4 th ) Registered Soccer Official is placed at a table between the benches to assist in Substitution and Bench Control. Tents will be provided for team benches. Home team will warm up on the north end (Scoreboard) of the field and occupy the NORTH TEAM BENCH. Visiting Team will warm up on the south end of the field and occupy the SOUTH TEAM BENCH. NO SEEDS OR FOOD OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ON THE TURF OR TRACK. SCHOOLS VIOLATING THIS RULE WILL BE BILLED FOR CLEANUP COSTS. PRE-GAME SCHEDULE Pre-game warm up will be a minimum of 15 minutes. If time allows, teams will be given up to 20 minutes of pre-match warm up time. Each school will furnish their own warm-up balls. The following time schedule will be kept, using the stadium scoreboard clock: Five minutes remaining teams line up at their respective team benches Four minutes remaining introduction of officials Three minutes remaining Team introductions, as follows: o Visiting team reserves, starters, and coaches o o Home team - reserves, starters, and coaches When introduced, individuals should run from the sideline to the 40 yd line face the middle of the field Two minutes remaining Teams turn to face the American flag on the north end of the field. The National Anthem will be sung or played prior to each game as part of the team introductions. One minute remaining teams face each other and advance to midfield to shake hands before returning to their bench Note: The stadium scoreboard clock will be set with the five extra minutes to allow for introductions

CLOCK/ HALF TIME INTERMISSION The official time will be kept on the field with the Referee. The half time intermission shall be 10 minutes. BALL HOLDERS The site manager may provide Ball Holders. ADMINISTRATOR SUPERVISION Each school should have an administrator or designee on site to supervise and assist with crowd control. Please enter the names of the supervisors on the tournament information pages located on the WIAA website. The names of the supervisors will be placed on a pass list. Only those supervisors, whose names appear on the pass list, will be allowed free entry. Once on site, the head supervisor should check in with the tournament manager. CROWD CONTROL Security and site supervisors will be provided. Crowd control is the responsibility of the participating school supervisors. It is important that building administrators provide game supervision in the stands by promoting a safe enjoyable event for everyone. Please remind students to wear shirts, to observe the WIAA Tournament policy. If an issue with one of your students arises we will ask you to address it. PRE-MATCH SUPERVISION MEETING The event manager will review supervisor expectations and issue supervisory passes at a meeting with the schools head supervisors 30 minutes prior to the specified first match starting time for that team. A radio will be checked out to the head supervisor of each team. The supervisory list is limited to four people. Supervisors are required to sit in the student section representing their school and assume the responsibility of maintaining a sportsmanlike atmosphere. All spectators must remain behind the fenced areas of the playing field. No spectators are allowed on the sidelines or playing field before or after the match. DUTIES OF SCHOOL SUPERVISORS Sign in at the Pass Gate & report to the tournament manager at least 45 minutes prior to their team s first match. Must wear supervisor identification so that it is visible and easily seen. Sit with your school s student body and fans while your team is competing. Be active and visible in the cheering section with your student body and fans during all contests in order to discourage problems Be willing to approach students and/or community representatives who display inappropriate behavior. Notify tournament staff of potential problem individuals. Be of assistance as requested by facility security staff or tournament management staff. Be sure aisles and stairways are kept clear in the stands. Keep your students and fans from entering the playing surface. Assist in the orderly flow of traffic of fans entering and exiting the facility. At the conclusion of your game, assist your school s students and fans in leaving the bleachers. Foster the traits of good sportsmanship.

FAN AND STUDENT SPECTATORS The tournament manager will assign each participating school a rooting section. The supervision of this section will be the responsibility of the school. Spectators are not allowed on the playing field at any time, and are required to stay behind the fenced areas at all times. SEATING WIAA tournament regulations provide that a section of seating must be available for students who wish to stand for prolonged periods.(wiaa State Tournament Packet.) Home school will sit in the NORTH half of the grandstands. Student seating will be in the forward sections of the grandstands. WARNING: Viewing the game from the Student Section may be obstructed due to prolonged standing. Visiting school will sit in SOUTH half of the grandstands. BAND SEATING The home team band shall share the home school upper section The visiting team band shall share the visiting school upper section SIGNS & SCHOOL BANNERS NO signs other than the OFFICIAL SCHOOL BANNER will be allowed. VIDEO TAPING/FILMING All filming will be done from the spectator seating area. No special arrangements will be provided to schools. AWARDS Academic State Champions - The soccer team with the highest team grade point average in each WIAA classification will be presented a plaque in recognition of academic achievement. If one of the teams in the tournament is a recipient, the presentation will take place prior to the Saturday game during team introductions. If the recipient is not a tournament participant, the presentation will take place during half time of the championship match for their classification. Participation Certificates - All participants in the state tournament will receive participation certificates. These certificates will be issued to the coach at their first pre-match meeting. Trophies - Trophies will be awarded to all teams, 1st through 4th. The trophies will be presented at the conclusion of each match on Saturday. A WIAA traveling trophy will also be presented to the championship team. Sportsmanship Medallions - After each match, tournament officials will award two sportsmanship medallions to players who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the match.

BRACKETS The 2018 Soccer brackets are available on the WIAA website www.wiaa.com. An up-dated bracket will be displayed on-site, and will be presented to the champion of each classification as part of the post-game awards ceremony. LODGING A variety of hotels in the Lynnwood area are recommended for teams. A block of rooms has been reserved for teams and fans. Please see Lodging & Dining Packet on WIAA website for details. CONCESSIONS Concession stand at Shoreline Stadium will be open. PICTURES The WIAA has contracted Northwest Sports Photography to be the official photographer for the state tournaments. A photographer will take a team picture approximately one hour before your team s first match on Friday. One complimentary 8 x10 picture will be given to the school. Players will be able to order additional copies. PROGRAM INFORMATION The roster, team information, and season information sheets to be published in the State Tournament Souvenir Program are downloaded from MaxPreps. Programs will be available for sale at the tournament. MERCHANDISE SALES Rush Team Apparel will have State Tournament merchandise for sale on sight. RADIO AND TELEVISION COVERAGE Stations wishing to broadcast or televise the match must have the prior approval of the WIAA
