They are one of four pairs of teammates to each notch at least four double-doubles this season. Mavunga has 44 double-doubles in her career and is averaging 15.9 points and 12.2 rebounds per game this season. Mavunga is one of just two players in the country (and the only player from a Power 5 conference) to have three games of at least 16 rebounds. Harper is averaging 15.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per games this year which tops her career averages coming into the season of 9.0 points and 4.9 rebounds. LAST TIME OUT Maine 70 #8/8 Ohio State 83 Sunday, Dec. 3 at Value City Arena RECAPPING THE MAINE GAME Stephanie Mavunga had another dominant game inside, scoring 26 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to lead the Buckeyes to an 83-70 victory over Maine on Dec. 3. Mavunga's fi nal rebound of the game was also the 1,000th of her career. The Brownsburg, Ind., native was 11-of-12 from the fl oor and had two blocks. Sierra Calhoun made four triples and fi nished with a season-high 16 points. Linnae Harper scored 13 points and had three steals while Kelsey Mitchell chipped-in with 11 points and a game-high fi ve assists. The Buckeyes were never able to shake the Black Bears who made 14 three-pointers in the game which tied the Value City Arena opponent record. Half of those threes came from Julie Brosseau who was 7-of-12 from distance and fi nished with a career-high 29 points. OSU led 35-24 after a low-scoring opening half but found their footing in the third and scored 28 points to take what seemed like a solid 63-45 lead to the fourth. Maine continued to hit from long range and outscored OSU in the fourth quarter but was never really able to threaten down the stretch. THREE AT 15 OR MORE Kelsey Mitchell (25.7), Stephanie Mavunga (15.9) and Linnae Harper (15.3) are all averaging over 15 points per game this season. They are the highest scoring trio in the country at 56.9 points per game. The Buckeye trio is one of just fi ve teammate trios to average 15 or more points per game and the only one from a Power 5 conference. MITCHELL NAMED NATIONAL POW After helping lead Ohio State to a championship at the Play4Kay Showcase in Las Vegas, Kelsey Mitchell was named the national Player of the Week by ESPNW and CollegeSportsMadness.com as well as the Big Ten Player of the Week on Nov. 27. Mitchell averaged 30.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and shot over 53 percent from the fl oor and 48 percent from beyond the arc in the Buckeyes three victories. She was also 27-of-30 from the free throw line which included a 19-of-20 performance in the championship game, setting an OSU single-game record with her 19 makes. This was the fourth time Mitchell has been named the national player of the week and her ninth time earning the Big Ten honor. WHAT HAPPENED IN VEGAS Even though it happened in Vegas, we want to tell you about it. The Buckeyes won the Play4Kay Showcase over the Thanksgiving weekend behind a number of record and milestone performances. In the fi rst game, Stephanie Mavunga dominated Memphis to the tune of a career-high 35 points and 16 rebounds. She was 15-of-20 shooting and played just 24 minutes. In round two vs. FGCU, Kelsey Mitchell was 11- of-15 from the fl oor and 7-of-11 from long range for a then season-high 34 points. In the process, she became the NCAA DI all-time career three-point leader, passing UConn's Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis. Alexa Hart also hit a milestone vs. FGCU, scoring her 1,000th career point. FLORIDA This will just be the second game all-time between Ohio State and Florida. The two teams met in the fi rst round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Playing in Bowling Green, Ohio, the No. 9 seed Gators topped the No. 8 seeded Buckeyes 70-65. Florida then fell to Brittany Griner and top-seeded Baylor in the second round. 1,000 WINS IN SCHOOL HISTORY Ohio State is the winningest program in the Big Ten and on Nov. 15 vs. Idaho, became the fi rst team in the conference 1,000 wins. The Buckeyes are just the ninth program in NCAA history to notch 1,000 victories. Overall, Ohio State is 1,005-429 for a.701 winning percentage. GET EM IN EARLY The Buckeyes opened the season by playing nine games in the fi rst three weeks of the season. That is nearly a third of the team's 30 regular season games in the opening three weeks. The Buckeyes opened with two games against top-10 teams in the fi rst three days of the year and went 1-1. They then played three games in a fi ve-day stretch before heading to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend for three games in three days. The game vs. Duke on Nov. 30 marked three weeks since the start of the season. 17 THREES TIES A RECORD Ohio State made 17 three-pointers in its game against No. 9 Louisville on Nov. 12, tying the school's single-game record. The Buckeyes also made 17 threes against Penn State on Feb. 7, 2010. Kelsey Mitchell made seven of the 17 three-pointers. Asia Doss (5) and Linnae Harper (3) each set career-highs for three-pointers made in the game. MAGIC NUMBER 70 Head coach Kevin McGuff s style of fast paced offense leads to more possessions and hopefully more points. Since he took over at the start of the 2013-14 season, the Buckeyes are 75-10 when scoring at least 80 points and 93-20 when scoring at least 70 points. Year <70 pts >70 pts >80 pts >90pts 2013-14 5-15 12-3 7-0 4-0 2014-15 3-4 21-7 17-3 9-1 2015-16 1-3 25-5 21-4 14-1 2016-17 1-3 27-4 22-2 10-0 2017-18 0-1 8-1 8-1 5-1 Totals 10-26 93-20 75-10 42-3 SHARING THE LOVE Under head coach Kevin McGuff, the Buckeyes have dished-out 20 or more assists in a game 24 times and are 23-1 in those games. Dating back to the 2009-10 season, the Buckeyes have won 52 of the last 55 games when sharing on 20 or more of their fi eld goals. The Buckeyes hit the 20-assist mark 14 times last season and two times already this season. HITTING THE GLASS When the Buckeyes win the battle on the boards, they usually end up winning the game. Ohio State is 59-4 under McGuff when out-rebound the opponent. 155-STRAIGHT WITH A THREE Ohio State has made at least one three-point fi eld goal in 155-straight games. The last time the Buckeyes failed to make a three-pointer in a game was on Feb. 10, 2013 at Northwestern. OSU was 0-of-6 from long range that game. Over the streak, the Buckeyes have made 10 or more threes in a game 33 times. Ohio State has made 34.7 percent (1,109-3,195) of its shots from beyond the arc and is averaging 7.2 threes per game during the streak. 26 REBOUNDS??? Stephanie Mavunga set the OSU single-game record by grabbing 26 rebounds in the season-opening win over No. 10 Stanford on Nov. 10. She broke Mary Sivak's previous mark of 25 set way back on March 3, 1979. The 26 rebounds are the most by any player in the country this season. Mavunga's previous single-game high was 17. She also added 17 points in the game marking her 39th career double-double.

MITCHELL PASSES KATIE SMITH Anytime you move past a legend like Katie Smith on a career chart, you know you've accomplished something. Kelsey Mitchell scored 30 points in the season-opening win over No. 10 Stanford and passed Smith on the OSU scoring charts. Mitchell moved into second place, passing Smith's career mark of 2,578 career points. MOST BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS Ohio State has won 15th Big Ten championship which is tops in the conference. The Buckeyes had a 15-1 mark in conference play last season and claimed its Big Ten best 15th conference title. SO MUCH FOR WADING IN The Buckeyes didn't take it slow to start they season as they are played two top-10 teams right out of the gate. Ohio State opened with an 85-64 victory over No. 10/9 Stanford on Nov. 10 and then fell in an overtime battle with No. 9/10 Louisville 95-90 on Nov. 12.
