W01 Alpha Road Recreation Cricket Site located near to focus for cricket activity Installation of cricket nets to satisfy local demand for informal cricket with sustainability plan, maintaining appropriately. AR.W01.5 2 Cricket, Serco W01 Alpha Road Recreation Football Site surrounded by high fencing and has slightly neglected, remote feel at rear of a housing estate. Provision of additional football pitch and cricket nets should attract more teams to the site and raise levels of activity generally, thereby increasing use of pavilion. W01 Alpha Road Recreation Football Site is used by adjacent New Monument Primary School in the day. Joint initiatives with primary school to increase after-school use of site W02 Brookwood Country Park Football Past problems with drainage at this site Drainage problem being addressed. W03 Brookwood Recreation Groun General For a newcomer, access is not clear and is difficult across a narrow bridge and down a long lane. Feels a remote site and is underused. Rebuild of pavilion - ensuring that facilities are appropriate for women and girls - which together with access improvements, will increase cricket, football and tennis use of the site. Open access, usage seems low & not in a suitable location to form the basis of a (floodlit) training area for the rest of the playing field. Suggest no action for tennis court. 5

W05 Goldsworth Park Football Site is being overplayed for football, especially on Sunday mornings. Major youth football site in the borough. Year round demand from football including major youth tournaments in June. Growing demand, but maximum use currently made of existing pitch space for football If demand continues to grow, explore feasability of using other LA sites that are currently under utilised. AR.W05.1 2 Serco W05 Goldsworth Park/see also W68 Woking Hockey Club Football Football Clubhouse would benefit from enlargement and updating to include more storage and catering facilities. Explore options for shared use of pavilion to support Woking Hockey Club changing room extension, enlarged storage & catering facilities for youth FC & possibly increased cricket usage at site. AR.W05.2 1 England Hockey, clubs, WAVs W05 Goldsworth Park Football Football pitches rated as 'standard' WBC working with FA and IOG on improving pitch quality standards to help improve playing experience and alleviate overplay issues. AR.W17.7 2 WBC W27 Woking & Horsell CC Cricket The ground cannot accommodate all the Colts cricket. but the club seem accepting of this W27 Woking & Horsell CC General Drainage is an ongoing issue for both the football and cricket pitch and is being addressed through various measures. Need ground to accommodate all W&H juniors teams Wheatsheaf (only 0.5 miles) or Goldsworth Park (2.7 miles). Investigate further Keep drainage issue under review and support amelioration measures.
