The above order of play may be changed at the discretion of the Referee. All events will be on a strict timetable system. Competitors who are not ready to play at the time for which their match is scheduled will be scratched.
5.0 MEDALS Medals will be awarded to all winners, runners-up and 2 losing semi-finalists. 6.0 EVENTS Event U17 U15 Men s Singles 6 entries 6 entries Women s Singles 6 entries 6 entries Men s Doubles 3 entries 3 entries Women s Doubles 3 entries 3 entries Mixed Doubles 3 entries 3 entries **Host organizers will be entitles to enter maximum of 8 entries for each SINGLES and 5 entries for each DOUBLES**. 7.0 AGE ELIGIBILITY U17 : All players must be under 17 years old throughout the calendar year of the tournament. i.e. born on or after 1 st January 2001. U15 : All players must be under 15 years old throughout the calendar year of the tournament. i.e. born on or after 1 st January 2003. The minimum age for all players shall be 10 years old. All players MUST have a BWF Player s ID before submission of the entries. Players without BWF ID should contact their respective National Association. The National Association is responsible for the creation of New BWF ID s for their members. 8.0 ENTRIES TIMELINE The closing date for entries submission will be Tuesday, 22 nd August 2017. All entries must be in order of respective National Rankings. All members associations must log on to http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=d02455a2-674e-4b02-99c1-a9ed7228a8f8 and submit entries. 9.0 SCORING SYSTEM AND REGULATIONS All matches will be played using the best of 3 games and 21 rally points scoring system. The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton, and BWF Competition Regulations.

Withdrawals prior to the tournament, must be accompanied by an appropriate certification. Withdrawals after the draw Tuesday, 19 th September 2017 will be processed in the Team Managers Meeting. Withdrawals after the draw is made due to illness or injury must be supported by a medical certificate. The Team Managers shall attend any briefings and meetings called by the Referee.
It is compulsory that all team managers must attend the team managers meeting.failing to attend the meeting they are liable to be fined as per regulation Part III Section 1B, Appendix 11 Offences and Penalties.Member Associations can make a request someone to represent them at the meeting as long as the Referee knows in advance that is acceptable Important Note: Badminton Asia reserves the right to determine the size of the draw accordingly based on the number participating teams. 13.0 TEAM MANAGERS MEETING Date : Tuesday, 3 rd October 2017 Time : 15:00pm Venue: Meeting Hall, Myanmar Sports Hotel 14.0 TECHNICAL AND UMPIRES BRIEFING Date : Tuesday, 3 rd October 2017 Time : 16:00pm Venue: Meeting Hall, Sky Star Hotel 15.0 WITHDRAWAL AND SUBSTITUTION 15.1 No alterations or substitutions are permitted to the entries after the dateline of Main and Qualifiers (Tuesday, 7 th September 2017). 15.2 No changes whatsoever may be made to the draw accept for withdrawal after the draw has been made. 16.0 CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING REGULATIONS Color, design, lettering and advertising on players clothing shall be in accordance with General Competition Regulations 19-23, and BWF Grand Prix Tournaments regulations. 16.1 The NAME of the Player on the back of the shirt is Mandatory for ALL matches. 16.2 The Country name is optional. 16.3 It is Mandatory that, from Quarter Final onwards, the opposing players in each match wear significantly different colors from each other.
16.4 It is Mandatory for Doubles Partners to wear the same color of shirts and shorts, from Quarter Final onwards. 16.5 In applying General Competition Regulations 19-23, the decision of the Referee shall be final. 17.0 OFFICIAL SHUTTLECOCK TBC 18.0 TEAM S ARRIVAL All participating Teams must arrive at least 24 hours before the start of the first Scheduled match. 19.0 COUNTRY FLAG All team needs to bring 1 of your country flag. (100 x 150cm). 20.0 ON-COURT DOCTOR An on-court doctor will be on duty throughout the competition at the tournament venue. 21.0 SUBSIDIES Organizer will provide 5 twin rooms (2 players per room up to 10 players) with breakfast for each team for maximum of 6 nights and food subsidy USD10.00 per player for a maximum of 6 players per team for a maximum of 6 days. Room Subsidy will be given to Players ONLY, the rooms shall be reduced proportionally if the country has less than 10 players. Badminton Asia will assist participating teams from developing countries ONLY with airfares subsidies. Airfare subsidy is for a team of 6 players and 1 officials, subsidy shall be reduced proportionally if the country has less than 7 person. 22.0 OFFICIAL HOTEL HOTEL SINGLE RATE TWIN RATE EXTRA BED 1. Reservation should be made by completing the attached Hotel Reservation Form and Hotel Reservation deadline, 31 st August 2017 must send to Mr. Brang Mai by e-mail : mbfrobin@gmail.com Payment : Full payment must be settled not later than 4th September 2017 *Note: Hotel Reservation is first come first serve basis. The host Organizer reserved the rights to accommodate any teams to another hotel if the hotels are fully booked. Hotel rate may vary if the teams are to be moved to another hotel. 23.0 PRACTICE SCHEDULE The Organizers will prepare and overall equitable practice schedule, taking into consideration of the size and arrival details of each team and please attached your Practice Request Form to: Mr. Aung Myo Thant by e-mail : aungmyothant1500@gmail.com not later than 15 th September 2017. 24.0 TRANSPORTATION Airport transport will be ONLY be provided from Yangon International Airport of Yangon, Myanmar to the official hotel upon request only. Please complete the transportation form to Mr. Ye Naing by e-mail : naingye@yahoo.com not later than 18 th September 2017 25.0 VISA APPLICATION Players and Officials who require VISAS to enter MYANMAR and needing assistance, Kindly submit the visa form as attached to Mr. Brang Mai by e-mail mbfrobin@gmail.com, not later than 6 th September 2017 You must apply for your Visa at least 30 working days before it is needed, to allow time for your application to be processed. A copy of passport photo page is compulsory with the form. Please make clear which city you plan to pick up the visa Please note, the letter of invitation we provide does not guarantee for the Visa Approval to Myanmar and the final decision is made by the Indonesian Embassy in your country. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that they apply for their visa in sufficient time. Any issues with the visa application need to be dealt with directly to the Embassy who is dealing with your application. We accept no responsibility for withdrawals made due to late visa applications.
Alternatively, you are also advised to apply Myanmar visa through your local travel agency, which proves to be more fast and convenient. 26.0 ACCREDITATION Please complete and return the accreditation form to Mr. Brang Mai by e-mail: mbfrobin@gmail.com no later than 4 th September 2017. 27.0 INSURANCE By sending the entry for the tournament clearly signify acceptance Associations and its delegated competitors / officials to the indemnity and not hold the organizing committee accountable for and or to have any recourse against any costs, claims and damages for personal illness, injury death, financial loss, death or property damage, in any form at any location arising out of or in any way resulting from the participation in, postponement or cancellation of the said tournament. The organizer will NOT be responsible for any illness, injury sustained, at any time, by any player or official arising from his / her participation in these Championships. Any costs incurred for diagnosis, consultancy, and medical treatment (including any form of surgical procedure) and / or hospitalization shall be borne by the Member Association of the player / official concerned. Please ensure that your players & team officials possess the requisite insurance coverage to meet current requirements.
