Tryouts Will be held for spring season for new players not currently registered MYSA is working with rec soccer program to have our players be junior trainers; older kids U12-14 help out coaches. We will get flyers to Hazelwood Q: Do players automatically move to the team for spring? A - Always up to the coach - coach can cut. This tryout is not to make cuts, it's to get names for openings. Q Did Mid NJ give any info about U12? - No meetings yet A - Prepare to play small sided for next year. No confirmation, but rumor is small sided for U12 2 years ago U11 went full no choice. 2 years ago - choice to go small U11/12 This year U11 small/ U12 choice Next year rumor is U12 small field will be mandatory Less kids on the field is more touches Smaller rosters Less game times "statistically less kids = more touches" Full sided - player a is dominant, they have to pass USA soccer has determined best way to progress soccer in US - but not internationally Field lights We did secure field lights; now we have to get them. They close at 5pm. We have Volunteers Saturday afternoon volunteers with trucks Won't have before Monday - based on time Lights will be at Pool field - set up by row of trees, facing in, so they won't be by anyone's windows. Less neighbors. Some rumblings in town about complaints about lights on other fields. Pool field is secluded. We will have to practice 6-9pm because of HS soccer. Next week 6-9pm. once HS ends we can get field earlier. Yes there is practice on Columbus day Registration This is one of the few years we are 98% paid up! Thanks to coaches and parents.

So vin can enter scores into Mid-NJ Field Status No Change Q are we not lining field 5? A - No we are not. No practices there. Bad condition. Q: picture day will we need nets? A: Vin and Jason will handle Financial Update $22,000 in bank; paid 6000 in training; 9-10k in training extra if we get it all in. 10-12k left; see how much we have refs. most games 3 refs; (avg 5500/ season with 12) We have been saving money last 1.5 years. Goal is to own the lights. By the end of the year we should have enough to purchase the lights. 2200 for this season lights Need to keep reserve, we have to pay in advance registration fees. $750 unpaid registration. Looking to get by the end of the weekend. If families have issue, they should bring it to board's attention, we will see what we can do. People should make some payments. (6-7 kids). Q - How to find out who the other team's SAGE rep is? A - Email opposing coach, cc president about parents. If there is an issue tell our SAGE rep, Coaches bring issue to the attention of MYSA ; coach put in report; Vin will follow up with regional VP Then reg. VP will follow up with that VP and team's club's president They have put clubs on probation, but only for violating birth certificates... Still trying to get the information out, so they are not coming down hard yet No complaint dept. There no league SAGE person Meetings for next season We currently have 3 general membership meetings per season. Should we change bylaws to 2 per season? We will vote at next meeting. The last meeting of the spring season is for elections Q: Will there be Halloween day training? A: Normally it is scheduled for that day, but it's up to the team. Let Vin know if the team doesn't want to have training. Q: What about being behind on training? A: Teams should extend training during the week or Saturday - what works for the parents and the team; let Vin know. He will get trainers and fields. Meeting Adjourned
