Scouting Siena Siena returns to the Capital Region to host Central Connecticut in its home opener tonight The Saints are 13-18 in home openers during the program s Division I era Siena has lost eight of its last nine home openers The last time the Saints won their home opener when it came at the ARC was a 62-58 victory over Duquesne on Nov. 30, 2004 (lost six straight) Tonight marks the Saints annual STOMP Out Homelessness Game with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless For just $10, fans will receive the Official STOMP T-shirt, admission to the game, a Dog House store coupon, a concession coupon and a special giveaway Siena won its season opener for just the second time in the past 10 seasons Friday at Buffalo It marked the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Saints season opener came on the road The Saints are now 19-22 all-time in season openers Freshman forward Margot Hetzke had arguably the greatest collegiate debut by a freshman in program history Friday She erupted for a double-double with 29 points -
