TICKET INFORMATION It is free admission to all FSU softball games, except for post season tournaments. 8

Inclement Weather Policy Every effort will be made to start and/or complete a scheduled softball game. If there is adverse or severe weather prior to the start of the game, the decision to play or delay will rest with input from the Head Coaches (both teams), the Administrator in Charge of Soccer/Softball Operations and the Head Umpire. Once the game has started, the Head Umpire will make the decision to suspend, postpone or cancel play. If the two schools cannot agree, the matter will be referred to the conference office. In the case of tournament play the Tournament Director and Head Umpire will make the decision, prior to game time, to suspend, postpone or cancel play. If the game cannot be rescheduled, it will be eliminated. If the game is halted and cannot be resumed that day, the Administrators of the two schools will make every effort to reschedule the game (the next day, if possible). The game day event manager will alert the head umpire and head coach when a lightning advisory is put into effect. Once a lightning warning goes into effect the game day event manager will inform the head umpire, and the game will be suspended for a minimum or 30 minutes, or until given the All Clear. If put into a lightning warning, teams must evacuate to either the team administration building, or to the batting cages. However, once a person evacuates to one or the other, they ARE NOT ALLOWED to move from one to the other. They must wait the entirety of the lightning warning to leave the premise. Indoor Hitting Cages: The indoor hitting cages provide an ideal inclement weather location for batting practice during rain condition and when the infield is being otherwise used. Players, coaches and staff movement to and from the hitting cages poses an unacceptable risk as these personnel are fully exposed to possible lightning strikes. Accordingly, during a Weather Warning all personnel in the baseball and softball hitting cages are to remain in the hitting cages, and personnel not in the hitting cages will not attempt to enter the hitting cages, until such time as the warning has be canceled or until 30 minutes after the last strike has occurred within the 8 mile circle as shown on Telvent DTN MxVision Weather Sentry Online. Cold Weather Policy: Games shall not be played if the RealFeel temperature for the facility on AccuWeather.com is less than 28 degrees. If the temperature at one hour prior to the game is less than 28 degrees, but the forecast indicates the temperature will reach 28 degrees by the start of the game, teams may begin pre-game warm-ups. If the temperature at the start of the game does not reach 28 degrees, the game shall not be played at the scheduled time. The game may be delayed if the forecast indicates the temperature will reach 28 degrees at a later time. Coaches shall communicate with home administrators and event management regarding logistics and other factors influencing the decision to play or delay the game. The home team administrator shall make the final decision with the understanding that they may not overrule the cold weather policy if the temperature at the start of the game has not reached 28 degrees. 9
