Animals will be required to jump a course of fences, they will immediately be asked to give a short show including a change of rein and a gallop in the same ring. P(UK) Dalkeith Young Riders Ridden M&M Qualifier To be held at The Royal International Horse Show Hickstead, West Sussex RH17 5NU on 25 30th July 2017 Judges: - To be judged according to the rules and regulations of Ponies Association (UK) Owners, Riders must be current P(UK) Annual/Senior/Junior Riders Club Members and the Ponies currently registered with P(UK) before the date of the show in order to compete in these classes Open to Mountain and Moorland Ridden Stallion (Intermediate class only), Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered in their approved Pure Breed Society Stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C or D. The highest placed exhibit not already qualified within the first five will receive notification of their qualification for the Young Riders M&M Ridden Final at The Hickstead.Two Judges to be taken from the P(UK) M&M panel or NPS M&M Panel- one for the performance section and one for the conformation. The two judges will officiate on the round show together and then judge their section individually, no marks will be allocated but further consultations after both phases have been completed may take place to decide the final placings. CHAMPIONSHIP 1st & 2nd Prize winners from classes 34 36 to compete P(UK) AMATEUR RIDERS RIDDEN M&M QUALIFIER The Amateur Riders Final is open to riders who for showing purposes have not engaged in a training programme for riders/horses/ponies, livery, buying/selling or dealing of horses/ponies as a means of deriving a source of income since Aug 2016. It is expected that exhibitors will enter into the true spirit of this competition and trainers and producers must not enter the ring during the judging process. The Directors reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to refuse an exhibitor s entry should they be in contravention of this rule in the Directors considered opinion. Mountain and Moorland ridden stallion, mare, gelding 4 years old and over, registered in their approved Pure Breed Society stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B,C,D rider any age.

The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each open class and a Champion rosette for each section. The Association will also award a new Amateur Home Produced rosette in all Affiliated Open Cob classes. Rosettes have been kindly sponsored by TSG, Mr L Turley and the Maxi Cob rosettes have been kindly sponsored by Mr & Mrs E McCourt. The awards will go down the line; there is no limit on how many of these rosettes can be claimed in a year. BRITISH SHOW HORSE ASSOCIATION DAY TICKETS. Non- Members may purchase up to a maximum of 2 Day Tickets per exhibitor, per horse per season. A Day Ticket will allow entry into Novice, Amateur, Young Rider, Home Produced, Working and Open affiliated classes only but will not allow entry into or HOYS qualifying classes. Horses registered on a Day Ticket do not require a JMB height certificate. Competitors can apply for a Day Ticket by downloading an application form from the BSHA website.
