No refunds or cancellation of entry fees permitted. Dogs should be kept on leads at all times. Horses and Ponies must be attended at all times when tied to the outside of a lorry or trailer. The organising Committee accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, injury or damage to any person or their property whilst on the showground, car parks or approaches. Only horses & ponies entered at the show may be ridden on the show ground. Please use litter bins provided. No lorries or trailers to be cleaned out on the show ground

AFFILIATIONS All B.S.P.S. classes are open to members and non - members of the society This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the Rules of the B.S.P.S, including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S Black Country Saddles Best Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Pony, Mixed Height SHP, Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height WHP, the Intermediate Show Riding Type and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships Show. This Show is a qualifier for the 2018 B.S.P.S Premier League the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the Lead Rein and First Ridden, Mixed Height Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony, Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height Working Hunter Pony, Intermediate Show Riding and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes will qualify. This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show Pony, the Champion Mini WHP, the Champion Open Show Pony, the Champion Open WHP/WH, the Champion Open SHP will qualify. The first placed ponies in the Heritage Open Mountain and Moorland Classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S Industrial Salt Supplies WOW FACTOR ( Winner of Winners ) at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships This Show is a qualifier for the 2018 B.S.P.S. Summer Championships Show, to be held at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincs. The 1st and 2nd prize winners in the appropriate classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S. Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rules 23 and 28 and ridden by a BSPS member. This show is affiliated to the Side Saddle Association. These classes are run under SSA Rules defined in the current Member s Handbook. Class H8 Class H9 Open Equitation Open to SSA Members and Non-Members. Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for SSA rosettes to 3rd Adult and 3rd Junior places and SSA Championship Points. Southernden Farm offers a rosette to the highest placed Member aged under 14 on 1st January of the current year. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member and Manor Grange Stud Show Centre to the Junior Member, judged to be the best turned out. Juniors must wear Hats to current Safety Standard or above. Side Saddle Concours d Elegance Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over: conformation & manners will be taken into consideration; horses/ponies will not be stripped. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult and Junior Members of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards. ** The Highest placed coloured exhibit (who has not already qualified) receives a Special Rosette and qualifies for the Side Saddle Final at the CHAPS Championship Show. Open to any type of exhibit. Riders must be 16 or over. Riders/Owners need not be a member or their exhibit registered with CHAPS at the time of qualification, but in order to compete at the Championships, the Rider/Owner must be a showing member and their horse/pony registered with CHAPS before entering the final The sole criterion for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by horse and rider. Attention may be paid to the rider s personal appearance but detailed inspection of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume is not permitted. Competitors are required to walk, trot and canter. No individual show is required, but the Judge may ask groups of 3 or 4 riders to give short displays. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult Member and Junior Member of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards.
