RULES OF ENTRY TO BARSTOBRICK EQUESTRIAN INDOOR RURAL CENTRE (BEIRC) GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS SMART DRESS PLEASE 1. Competitions are organised by BEIRC Committee hereinafter referred to as The Show Organiser within these General Rules and Regulations 2. The Show Organiser. volunteers and officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever. 3. Trespass - All visitors to Barstobrick must keep to areas relevant to the show centre and are not allowed access to any other area. Anyone found to be in an unauthorised area may be asked to leave the show ground 4. The Show Organiser reserves the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future show or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 5. Competitions - The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions as they see fit. 6. The judges decision is final. 7. Smoking - Smoking is not permitted within any part of the showground or buildings unless in the specified smoking area. 8. Children - The Showground is not a playground. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times 9. Vehicles - The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the showground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 10. Dogs - Dogs are permitted on the show ground. They must be under control on a lead at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show Organiser or any of their staff, any person fails to keep their dog(s) under control they may be asked to leave the show ground. 11. The organisers will not be held responsible for any incident or injury to riders, owners, spectators, grooms or any person or property whatsoever. It is a condition of entry that each competitor shall agree to indemnify the organiser against any legal action arising from any incident. 12. All areas of the showground are to be left tidy. ALL horse manure and loose hay must be removed from the carpark. ANY PERSON(S) AND THEIR ASSOCIATES FOUND MISBEHAVING OR CAUSING DAMAGE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SHOW GROUND IMMEDIATELY Contact Kelly 07761294425 Please read carefully the General Rules and Regulations. WINTER LEAGUE DRESSAGE COMPETITION 1st SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH (ex January) OCTOBER TO APRIL INCORPORATING PONY CLUB DENGIE WINTER LEAGUE QUALIFERS & NPS SUPREME DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS Entries close 1 week PRIOR to competition date. BEIRC Members 10 per class Non-Members 12 per class Late entries MAY be accepted at an additional charge of 3.00 per class. Dates 2016 2017 2nd October 2016 8th January 2017 6th November 2016 5th February 2017 4th December 2016 5th March 2017 2 nd April 2017 Points are awarded to the 6 placed in each class, there is a trophy for the combination with the highest points throughout the series at each level including Junior sections. To be eligible for points the combination of horse and rider must have competed in at least 3 winter league competitions. Pocket Rocket Quaich is presented to the most improved horse/rider throughout the league. Classes 1 & 2 are restricted, to be eligible for Class 1 rider and horse combinations must not have been placed 1 st,2 nd or 3 rd more than 3 times in any dressage competitions. For class 2 the same restriction applies but does not include wins or placings in Intro tests. If a combination is eligible in October they carry that through the series. If a combination is not eligible they may still enter but must do so HC. Class numbers may be restricted. National Pony Society Supreme Dressage Championship Qualifers British Dressage Tests Prelim 18 & Novice 30 will be used for all qualifiers. Each test will consist of the following six sections all of which will have their own Final:- 1. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds not exceeding 138cm 2. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds exceeding 138cm 3. Registered British Riding Ponies 4. Part Bred Horses/Ponies registered with their appropriate Native Breed Part Bred Stud Book including Part Bred Arab ponies over stamped in the British Riding Pony Stud book and ponies registered with the British Sports Pony Stud Book. Please note Part Bred Native ponies and Sports ponies over stamped within the British Riding Pony & Stud Book may only compete in one section per season. 5. Highest placed Mini rider aged under 12 years on 1 st January 2016 6. Highest placed Junior rider under 18 years on 1 st January 2016 The two highest placed ponies in each section at each qualifying show will qualify for the 2017 Final and also be eligible to be chosen to represent their Breed, NPS Area or other team in the Team Challenge which will be incorporated into the 2017 Championship Final. Qualifying rounds are open to competitors from the UK and elsewhere. All qualifiers will receive a qualification card, The Final will run in accordance with the 2016/2017 NPS Dressage Rules which will be available to all NPS Members. A member may compete at a prelim round in any area, but they must go to their own Area Competition, no exemptions will be given. Non-Members of the Pony Club are allowed to compete in any Preliminary Round but must become fully paid up mambers to compete in their Area Competition.
