Volume 19 JUNE 2014 Issue 8 HILLSDALE KIWANIS NEWSLETTER Contents President s letter 1 & 4 Pres ident s letter Roger Brook CLUB ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS In March, we had a club meeting where we divided the attendees into the four groups listed below. Each group was asked to consider the activities and projects of the club in their assigned area. Specifically, what are we doing, what should continue, what should be considered for stopping and what new project might we consider. The four groups were: Youth service Community service Human and spiritual values Fund raising. I have attempted to summarize the notes from each group in a separate article. Please review these notes and voice your opinions to any board member. FLAGS PROJECT By the time you read this, the Flags Project will be off and running, with Memorial Day behind us. This project is an important fund raiser for the club, not only helping to provide donations to community groups, but to also provide funds for the Cold Spring Park project. If you are not involved in this project, please consider how you might help. You could join one of the groups putting out flags. Or you could agree to take care of 8-10 flags in your neighborhood. Contact Tom Osbourne or Bill VanArsdalen to volunteer. They were too close to the door to close it,. The bandage was wound around the wound.. We must polish the Polish furniture. I did not object to the object. The wind was too strong to wind the sail. I had to subject the subject to a series of tests.
