Hope to see you all either at training or at the competitions. Well done to all. Yes, we are on Face Book as a secret group called IDAC and it s for club members, parents and supporters of our club. This way local updated late news can be circulated. Vic Parents Volunteering On training nights when our Committee are unable to man the clubhouse window to take training fees etc. it would be wonderful if some parents could help out on a roster system. It is not hard and is only for about 45 minutes at start of training. Please see Vic Pascoe so a list can be drawn up. With your help this action would make our club run a whole lot better. A new question is as follows: I am a female that will not run, And in the dark I won't be fun, I cause a stir, perhaps a scream, To have me you will not be keen, You'd like to keep me on a tether, But you won t escape my appearance forever. What am I? Think carefully!!! The first club member to reply by email with the correct answer wins a prize. Committee Notes Our next Monthly committee meeting is on Tuesday 19 th January 2017 at 7pm. All welcome. Surf Club Noosa Gift Whilst our members did not win a final, it was not for lack of trying. A few photos below. Alex Davies set the day off well when he ran 2 nd to win a prize in the Little A s invitation 900m handicap where Alex was one of the back markers. Larissa Chambers off 15m made it through to the semifinals of Noosa 110m Gift and was a starter in the Ladies 110m invitational Gift as being one of the fastest 8 ladies. Larissa off 5.25m ran 3 rd in the 110m Ladies final in 12.99 after also making the final of the Murray Surveyors 300m Gallop Gift. Larissa was unplaced in the 300m final.
