6. Select from the various functions laid out below to score your game: Ball - Tap when a pitcher throws the ball. Walks are automatically triggered when ball has been tapped 4x. o Intentional Ball- Instead of tapping, place your finger on the Ball button and slide up. Strike - Tap when a strike is thrown to a batter. o Swinging Strike- Instead of tapping, place your finger on the Strike button and slide up. Strike 3 - When the 3 rd Strike has been entered, the batter will automatically get a strikeout. o Exceptions: If you have changed the number of Strikes for Out in Game Settings, a strikeout will automatically register once this number has been reached. Foul - Tap this button any time a batter fouls off a pitch. o Enter Foul Ball Location- Instead of tapping, place your finger on the Foul button and slide up. Out - Tap this button any time a batter does something that causes them to make an Out. You will then be presented with a set of choices for all the ways a player can make an out. o NOTE: When entering an out, you will be prompted for additional information depending on the type of out that occurred. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete any scoring entry. Record Hit Location- For any out where the ball is put in play, you will first be asked to enter the hit location if this feature is enabled in Game Settings. To enter hit locations: 1. Tap the location, or place your finger on the screen and drag for a more precise placement of the hit location. 2. (Optional) Enter the strength of the hit ball. 3. (Optional) Enter the flight of the hit ball. 4. Once complete, tap Next. 5. Touch each position that handled the ball in the order of the play. For a play handled by a single player, you would just tap the one player That was involved. 6. Once complete, tap Done. If there were no runners on base prior to the play, you are now done with this play. If there were runners on base, you will now be prompted for what happened to the runners on base. Quick Out- Instead of tapping, place your finger on the Out button and slide up for common plays. o Quick Outs can save you several taps while scoring. In Play - Tap In Play when a batter reaches first base safe. When entering plays, if you make a mistake you can tap Cancel or Back to abort play entry and re-start. You can also shake your device to abort entry, and see if you d like to cancel. o Tapping In Play will bring up the In Play dialog. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 10 of 15

o o Enter hit location Record what happened to each runner. Exit - Use this to exit out of the scoring screen when you are done scoring. You will get a confirmation asking if you are sure this is what you want to do. Undo - Tap this after entering any play to Undo the pitch. You can tap undo all the way back to the start of the game if needed. Redo - As long as you remain in the scoring screen, and haven t entered a new pitch, you can tap Redo to restore a pitch that was reversed with the Undo option Misc - The Misc button will bring up a menu of choices. See Misc Options for more information. Scoring Runners Batter didn t Hit the Ball - Sometimes while scoring, a runner will do something outside of the batter hitting the ball. In these cases, you will tap on the runner to bring up the runner dialog. Multiple Runners - If there are multiple runners on base, you should tap the lead runner, and iscore will prompt for all runners on preceding bases as needed. Quick Play - If you place your finger on the runner and slide your finger up, you will also bring up the Quick Play for Runners menu. Misc Menu Options There are several options available under the Misc button. These are things that can occur in a game that don t fit in the In Play or Out menus. Tap the Misc button (or the Menu button on Android devices) to reveal these options. Balk - iscore will record the balk when tapped during the course of play, and advance baserunners if they are present. No Ball is given to the batter. Illegal Pitch After tapping this button, you will be asked if runners should advance bases. The ball is given to the batter. No Pitch Strike Adds a strike to a batter count, but not the pitcher's pitch count. Used in some leagues where rules prescribe a strike to the batter (e.g. delay of game) without a pitch being thrown. Skip Batter - After this selection is made, you will be asked if this skip counts as an out. The next time the skipped batter comes up to bat, you will be asked if they should be skipped again. Assign Error If the batter hits a foul ball that s dropped by a player, use this option to assign the error to the fielder. This affects Earned Run calculations. End Half Inning - If a team up at bat is ended prior to the required number of outs being made, you can use End Inning. This ends the half inning. Adjust Score Manually sets the score, inning, number of outs, and the next batter line up position for each team. This advance feature is useful if you show up late to a game and start scoring after the game has started. Tie Breaker - If a game ends in a tie, some leagues use a standard Tie Breaker rule, where the last person out starts on second base. iscore gives you the flexibility to start with any runner on any base if local rules dictate. If local rules call for a tie breaker to start with 1 out, you can use the Misc > End Inning option when the second out is made. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 11 of 15

End Game - If a game ends early, use the End Game button to let iscore know the game will not be played out to the scheduled number of innings. If your league should roll back to the end of the previous inning, you can use Undo back to that point in the game. Stats will not be maintained for the plays during this period. Rain Delay/(Resume Game) When selected, game time clock pauses and displays delay on the main scoring screen until the next scoring action is entered. The clock will resume from time of the delay. Resume Game will appear under the Misc menu while the clock is in delay. Tapping Resume Game will reset the clock back to zero. Show Starting Lineup To perform corrections to the starting lineup. Do NOT use the starting lineup screen to perform a substitution, as doing so will change the plays entered for that spot in the lineup to be a different person for the rest of the game. Pitch Tracking iscore allows you to track pitch details on every pitch of the game; Pitch location Pitch type Pitch speed. The pitch speckle chart can be viewed on the pitch tracking screen and is also included on emailed Scorecards. There are also statistics that will track effectiveness by pitch type. This information will be displayed in the pitch by pitch listing and on iscorecasts. Charges may apply. Tablet Devices On tablet devices, pitch tracking is available right from the main scoring screen. Phone-Size devices Place your finger in the outfield of the scoring screen and flick to the left to reveal the pitch tracking. To get back to the main scoring screen, you would flick back to the right. You can do basic scoring right from this screen if you wish. You could then flick back to the main field view if you need to perform an action on a baserunner. Pitch Location First If this Game Setting is set to Yes, enter the pitch location prior to the outcome of the play. If this Game Setting is set to No, enter the pitch location after you enter all the play details. View from Behind If this Game Setting is set to View from Behind (Catcher), enter pitches based on a view from behind the Catcher (default setting). If this Game Setting is set to View from Behind (Pitcher), enter pitches based on a view from behind the Pitcher. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 12 of 15

Pitch Detail Entry (Optional) Gives greater insight into various aspects of your players if you do track this information. Pitch Location - Tap in the pitch entry area to record the location of the pitch. o The inner rectangle should be considered the approximate strike zone. o The outer rectangle would be outside the strike zone. If a ball bounces in the dirt, you can tap the bottom most area of the outer rectangle. Pitch Type - Tap on the label for the pitch type that is thrown. Baseball or Softball will be highlighted as current pitch type. o The pitch type will change to match the pitch types generally thrown in Baseball or Softball, depending on which Game Setting you ve selected. Pitch Speed - The numbers in the bar to the left of the pitch area are a speed wheel. Flick up/down to change the speed of a pitch. The 3 ball icon below the pitch speed wheel toggles the speckle chart on/off for the current pitchers. This lets you see pitch locations of previous pitches during the game and includes a breakdown in a grid as well. o If your field has a scoreboard with a speed gun, entering these values would just copy from that display. o If you have your own speed gun, enter the pitch reading. o If you are using an ios device, the timing mechanism can be used to approximate the pitch speeds. To use this, be sure your Mound Distance settings has been set on the Options menu (bottom right corner of scoring screen). o Place your finger in the pitch location area and hold it there. o When the pitcher releases the ball, lift your finger. When the catcher catches the ball (or would have caught the ball), tap back down. This will time the pitch and, based on mound distance, will give you an approximate MPH. The second number in parenthesis is the Major League equivalent speed. This number is based on the amount of time a batter had to react to the pitch. The speed displayed is what a major league pitcher would have to throw for a batter to have the same amount of time to react. Pitch Presets - Some devices will allow you to enter a preset pitch type and speed. Most pitchers throw the same pitches at approximately the same speed. To use a preset to enter future pitches: 1. Using a speed gun or time a pitch to determine Pitch Speed. 2. Hold your finger on the Hold to Set button when you feel you have a good reading, creating a preset for the speed/pitch type combo. 3. Tap those presets to enter future pitches. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 13 of 15

Pitch by Pitch Listing On tablet devices, previous pitches will appear as a play by play on the scoring screen. This allows you to confirm your data entry when looking back through the list of details. On ipads, tapping a pitch in this listing will allow you to make basic edits to previous pitches. On all devices, when exiting the scoring screen, go to Game Info > Pitch by Pitch to make your edits. Tap the Inning Selectors at the top of the pitch by pitch listing to jump directly to the top half of the selected inning. Scorecard A traditional baseball scorecard is viewable from the following locations: The Scoring Screen. The Game Info Screen. Main Scoring Screen From a phone device: In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, tap the Tools button to display a traditional scorecard. From an ipad device: In the bottom toolbar of your screen, tap the baseball diamond display scorecard. Game Info Screen From the Game Info screen, you can view the Home or Visitor scorecard by tapping the Scorecard option for each team. Substitutions iscore breaks substitutions into two separate actions: Defensive Substitutions Offensive Substitutions Defensive Substitutions Because leagues and age levels have different rules surrounding defensive substitutions, iscore allows you to score within your own rules instead of trying to enforce any rules in particular. Defensive Substitutions can be made at any time during the game. To perform a defensive substitution: 1. Ensure you are viewing the main scoring screen. 2. Tap the position of the player on the field that needs the substitute. 3. Select the player that should be in the selected position from the list of players. 4. Repeat for any additional defensive substitutions you wish to make. 5. Once complete, tap Save. NOTE: You can also make Offensive Substitutions prior to tapping Save by using the Offensive/Defensive selector. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 14 of 15

Offensive Substitutions In order for the Offensive Substitution option to be available, you must have at least one player in the starting lineup set to Batting = No. Batting = No in the starting lineup tells iscore that player is available to bat but is not in the starting lineup. To perform an offensive substitution: 1. Ensure you are viewing the main scoring screen. 2. Tap the batter icon. 3. Select a lineup spot in the horizontal batting lineup near the top of your screen. NOTE: If you cannot see all of the batters in your current lineup, swipe the lineup right or left. 4. Tap the player you wish to sub in. 5. Repeat for any additional offensive substitutions you wish to make. 6. Once complete, tap Save. NOTE: You can also make Defensive Substitutions prior to tapping Save by using the Offensive/Defensive selector. GAME FINISH Once you have completely scored your game, you will receive a message of Game Over. You may now review your completed game information. Box Scores and Stats from this completed game will now be sent to your SI Play Team Website. 2018 SI Play LLC. All Rights Reserved. Page 15 of 15
