PLEASE CONTACT HANG10 TREESTANDS AT (770) 715-6518 OR https://www.hang10treestands.com/ SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE INSTALLATION AND/OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. I. Safety Precautions & Information i. At least annually, review the contents of this instruction manual and watch the safe treestand hunting DVD. ii. Hang10 Treestand has a strict weight limit of 350 pounds. Do not use this product if you exceed this weight limit. Please note this weight limit includes the user and equipment. iii. You must test and practice with product at ground-level prior to using it at heights above ground-level. iv. If you have a limiting physical and/or health condition that precludes and/or renders you incapable of self-recovery and/or a suitable escape plan is not available, DO NOT hunt from heights above ground level. v. DO NOT use the Hang10 Treestand if you have a history of heart problems, back problems, impaired vision, joints that lockup, spinal fusions, equilibrium problems, high blood pressure, are not well-rested and/or any other physical impairment that may limit your ability to use and/or operate in a safe manner outlined in this Instruction Manual. Additionally, do not use if you are currently taking any medication (including prescription) and/or using and/or consuming any substance, including alcohol, that may limit your ability to use the Hang10 Treestand as outlined and described in the Instruction Manual. vi. Before each use of the Hang10 Treestand, you must inspect ALL product parts. If any component is damaged, DO NOT use the treestand until such component is repaired or replaced. If you suspect a part(s) is missing and/or defective, immediately contact Hang10 Treestands at (770) 715-6518. vii. DO NOT use the treestand if it demonstrates signs of wear, damage, deterioration, or vandalism. Factors such as tree growth, vandals, weather and animals may affect the performance of an unattended tree stand. viii. Do not store the treestand outdoors when not in use. ix. Replace all hardware/cables/nuts/bolts/clips on your tree stand every two (2) years or sooner if inspection finds it necessary. x. Always use genuine factory authorized Hang10 Treestands replacement parts. Use of any replacement parts other than genuine Hang10 Treestands parts voids your warranty and relieves Hang10 Treestands, LLC of any resultant liabilities. xi. Do not remove, modify and/or omit any portion or otherwise mechanically modify the Hang10 Treestand or its assemblies in any manner. Modification, additions, misuse and/or part substitution shall immediately void your factory warranty and may result in serious injury or death. xii. Hang10 Treestand is designed for adult use only. No one under the age of 18 should attempt to use without direct adult supervision. xiii. AN AMERICAN SOCIETY for TESTING and MATERIALS (ASTM) APPROVED FULL BODY FALL ARREST HARNESS MUST BE USED WITH A HANG10 TREESTAND AT ALL TIMES AFTER LEAVING THE GROUND. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID AND RELIEVE HANG10 TREESTANDS, LLC FROM ALL LIABILITIES. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. A SUSPENSION RELIEF DEVICE IS ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. xiv. Practice the use of your full-body fall arrest harness at ground level in the presence of a responsible adult to experience the feeling of hanging suspended before using it in a hunting environment. a. Single safety belts and chest harnesses should never be used as they do not adequately protect the user and may put the user at serious risk of injury or death. xv. If you are not wearing your full-body fall arrest harness properly attached to the tree that is protecting you from a fall, do not leave the ground. ALWAYS inspect/check ALL expiration dates/tags on all straps on your full-body fall arrest harness prior to each use. xvi. Prior to each hunt, make certain you have a signaling device (e.g., mobile phone, cell phone, radio, whistle, signal flare, Personal Locator Device, etc.) in your possession and on your person in an operable condition. This device should at all times be within easy access should you experience the need to contact emergency assistance. xvii. Never rely on a tree branch for support while climbing.

2 xviii. xix. xx. xxi. xxii. xxiii. xxiv. You should always inform someone of your hunting location, where the treestand will be located and the expected duration of the hunt. Never attempt to climb up or climb down with a weapon and/or gear in your possession. ALWAYS unload your weapon and pull it up to hunting height using a tether or pull up rope. ALWAYS lower your unloaded weapon down to the ground prior (when raising or lowering firearms, the chamber must be open and the barrel pointing toward the ground) to attempting to climb down. DO NOT use the Hang10 Treestand when any adverse weather condition is present. These include weather conditions which have the potential for producing winds, lighting, rain, snow, sleet and/or any other atmospheric condition which may limit the user s ability to operate the Hang10 Treestand in a safe manner as described in this Instruction Manual. Should inclement weather conditions arise during your use of the Hang10 Treestand, return to the ground immediately. DO NOT use the Hang10 Treestand when ice, snow and/or freezing rain has deposited or formed on any portion of the tree you intend to climb. DO NOT adjust ANY straps, cables, and/or adjustable support bars while in a tree in an elevated position, standing on or leaning against the treestand. DO NOT use a Hang10 Treestand, on a dead, leaning, diseased, loose barked tree (bark that flakes or falls off), irregular shaped trees, or utility poles. DO NOT use this product on any tree that does not allow for a level standing platform. DO NOT jump or bounce on the Hang10 Treestand to seat it to the tree.

5 (M) Carry strap (1) part # CS001 Prior to installing on a tree, inspect stand components to include the two bolts and locknuts that were assembled during production. See Picture I in the Components section. III. CLIMBING INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR HANG10 TREESTAND Before beginning to climb: Check that your harness is secure, check that cables are properly secured, and make sure that the seat straps on your seat section are off to the side, they should not obstruct the cable connecting to the tree in any way while climbing. Practice at ground level with your Full Body Harness. Familiarize yourself with this product s function so you feel comfortable with the climbing procedure. 1. Remove the cinch strap from the nested position. 2. Ensure the mesh seat is in the back position secured with the 10 snap strap. This will allow you to climb unencumbered.

3. Hang the top (seat) platform first. Remove the cable from the hex tube and wrap around the back of the tree and insert the pin. Set the pin to the desired tree circumference (10-20 allowable). Ensure the pin is in the LOCKED position. Attempt to pull out without pushing the release button. If locked, the pin will NOT disengage. 6 4. Repeat the process with the foot platform. Again ensuring the pin is in the LOCKED position. 5. Set the platforms to your desired comfort level ensuring the anchors are secure into the tree. 6. Using your cinch strap, tie the two platforms together adjusting distant to your comfort level. This will prevent either platform from accidently falling to the ground. Carefully climb into the treestand.

7 7. Sit (top or seat platform) on the shooting rest facing the tree and insert your boots into the foot lifts (bottom or foot platform) to raise. Push down to set the dual anchors securing the platform in place. 8. Stand and lift up on seat platform to a comfortable level. Use your weight in a seated position to re-set or secure the platform. Raise your safety harness tether to take up the slack. 9. To continue climbing up tree, repeat steps 7 and 8. Continuously adjust your harness to keep strap above your head with minimum slack. 10. When you have reached the desired height to hunt from, carefully remove one foot at a time from the foot straps. Slowly turn around never taking both feet off of the foot platform. You MUST always have weight pressed on the foot platform. 11. Sit on the mesh seat. Using a safe hoist/lift system, raise your unloaded weapon. 12. To climb back down the tree, reverse the process, always ensuring you are constantly adjusting your harness tether as you move.

8 IV. NESTING AND TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR HANG10 TREESTAND Nesting: 1. With the seat platform level, insert the foot platform forward underneath the anchors of the top platform. Ensure the cable pin is in the out position and the cables in the hex tube to the forward position. Note, the cables/anchors should be opposite at either end when completed. 2. Using your cinch strap begin at one end looping through between the outer frame and the first tube. Run the strap lengthways looping the anchors and continue until the two ends meet. 3. Insert the end of the strap back through the cinch strap locking mechanism pulling tight. 4. At this point the treestand is nested. Carry Strap: 1. Position the stand vertical to install the carry strap.

9 2. Insert the top end of the strap through the front (triangular area) of the platform. Snap shut. 3. Disconnect the clips and insert the opposite end left and right straps looping through both platforms. Snap shut and adjust to your comfort level. 4. Your Hang10 Treestand is now ready to travel. V. MAINTENANCE AND CARE FOR YOUR HANG10 TREESTAND Because of the quality construction techniques used in manufacturing, your Hang10 Treestand is very durable under normal hunting conditions. However, since all hunting equipment that is exposed to the elements requires some maintenance and care, the following guidelines for caring for your treestand should be used. DO NOT leave your treestand outdoors when it is not being used. Any tubing that is allowed to fill with rainwater and freeze WILL rupture or burst. DO NOT use your treestand if this occurs. If your treestand is exposed to the elements, it will be necessary to cover the seat to prevent rain and moisture from saturating the material. This will extend the life of the seat material as well as make it more comfortable the next time it is used. Should you damage any part of your treestand, contact Hang10 Treestands to obtain the proper corrective action procedure and/or replacement parts for the treestand. Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations will void the warranty and could degrade the integrity of the treestand. You must perform periodic inspections of the treestand for damage. WARNING: DO NOT use the treestand if ANY obvious or suspected damage is observed. It is very important to inspect the cable on your climbing treestand to ensure that there is no sign of frayed, damaged or broken strands. If ANY such damage is noticed, you must replace your cable IMMEDIATELY. Replacement covering for the cables is also available. NOTE: The rubber covering on the patented cable serves as a noise reducer and increases grip. It is normal over time your cable cover will begin to wear. CAUTION: Look for nicks, gouges, cuts, cracks, bends, corrosion or similar damage that can be the result of improper use or accidental damage. In example, this could occur if someone else used the treestand without knowledge of its proper use, or if the treestand were dropped, hit by a motor vehicle or subject to corrosive conditions, etc. Hang10 Treestands have the highest structural integrity by design (hex), material selection and manufacturing techniques, but as its owner, only your continued care will assure trouble free performance. When the above-mentioned guidelines are followed, your Hang10 Treestand will provide years of successful hunting.
