Auditioning groups must submit a tape of performed songs to the MMEA, and each group is judged by an out-of-state panel, who then invite the top 10 choirs, regardless of age group, to perform at the MMEA Conference. This year, of the 53 choirs that auditioned, the Windsor Middle School Select Women s Choir was the only middle school choir chosen to perform.
