FIREFIGHTING MEASURES Suitable extinguishing media: Foam Carbon dioxide (CO2) ABC powder Water mist Specific hazards during firefighting: Burning produces irritant fumes. SECTION 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Advice on safe handling: The product is not flammable. No special protective measures against fire required. Wear personal protective equipment. Handle with care. Take care to avoid waste and spillage when weighing, loading and mixing the product. Conditions for safe storage: Materials to avoid: No smoking. Keep in properly labelled containers. Observe label precautions. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Do not freeze. Keep away from food and drink. Keep away from tobacco products. Recommended storage temperature: 4-43 C SECTION 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Components with workplace control parameters Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values. Engineering measures: Handle only in a place equipped with local exhaust (or other appropriate exhaust). Maintain air concentrations below occupational exposure standards.
