All heats will be maximum 12 laps with a maximum of 12 cars per Heat Points 36,28,23,17,13,10,8,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 to all other finishers Top 16 point scorers from the heats go directly into the A Main. Qualifiers 33 48 to compete in C Main First 4 place getters to run rear of B Main. Minimum 1 Lap per car plus 2 Laps to a Maximum of 12 Laps C Main will only be held if sufficient cars Qualifiers 17 32 to compete in B Main First 4 place getters to run rear of A Main. Minimum 1 Lap per car plus 2 Laps to a Maximum of 15 Laps To be run over 20 laps No reserve cars. Top 16 qualifiers plus sufficient cars in finishing order from the B Main to equal 20. Refer to Starting Option and Defending Champion Rules 4.6.1, 4.6.2 and 4.30.3 NO reserve cars STARTING OPTION: Rule No 4.6.1 In race formats where the highest point scorer starts the feature race on pole, the highest point scoring driver will be given the option of starting in either the inside or outside position of the front row. Rule No 4.6.2 The option must be exercised prior to the cars forming up on the dummy grid. There will be no change to any other starting position. DEFENDING CHAMPION: Rule No 4.30.3 The previous year's champion shall be allowed to defend title but must compete in heats. However, if the champion fails to qualify in this manner a rear of the field start is permitted in their own or a substitute car. DRIVERS BRIEFING: RACING FROM: Will be held at 4:00pm (unless otherwise notified) Scheduled at 5:00 pm unless otherwise notified 1

PRIZEMONEY: NO PRIZEMONEY IS PAYABLE ON THIS EVENT TROPHIES: Trophies plus Sashes 1 st through 5 th place in A Main All A Main competitors will receive a Medallion for qualification to the A Main. All other participants in the State Title event will receive a participation medallion. The driver of the winning car will receive a SSA 50 th Anniversary Polo Shirt in recognition of their success TOWMONEY: Tow money to be paid to all registered cars from other than the host track. $65 to be paid to all cars registered to Clubs in the Central Zone (North of Gympie to Rockhampton) $50 to be paid to all cars registered to Clubs in the Southern Zone (NSW/Qld Border to Gympie) $65 to be paid to all cars registered to Clubs in the Northern Zone (North of Rockhampton to Cairns) Interstate registered cars $65 only Cars must pass scrutineering to be eligible for tow money. SCRUTINEERING: Will be held at the Mothar Mountain Speedway, Gympie in the designated area. Scrutineering will be conducted between approx. 9:00am and 3:00 pm Saturday 5 th January 2019 NOTE: ALL CARS must be available for inspection between the above times and all competitors will be allocated a scrutineering time after the close of nominations. Cars will not be accepted after 3.00pm, unless prior arrangement has been made with the Title Manager Kaye Arthur (0408 766 651) Late arrival will incur a penalty. Post Title race checks are to be done at a time and place as directed by the Title Chief Scrutineer. All Title positions will remain unofficial until all post title race checks have been carried out to the satisfaction of the Title Chief Scrutineer It is a requirement to use a roof number for identification purposes of your race car for all officials. Roof number to be as per the Specification Book in block font White on Black. It is also a requirement to have the club prefix and registered number of the car on both sides or the tail light area of the car and be as per specification requirement large enough for other competitors to see to aid the lining up at restarts. LOG BOOK & LICENCES: Are to be handed to the scrutineer at scrutineering and obtained after the completion of the nights racing. Hired transponders must be returned to obtain your Log Book. GRID DRAWS: Deemed to be carried out by SSQ (QSCA Inc.) at 6pm on Wednesday 2 nd January 2019 Grid draws will be available in printed form at scrutineering. Due to the use of transponders in this event each driver will use their regular car registration number. GENERAL INFORMATION & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. Driver must hold and provide for sighting a current Speedway Australia Junior Driver Licence Card. 2. Car must carry a current SSA Inc decal and log book and be a currently registered SSA Junior Sedan. 3. One Car / One Driver only are eligible for this event Rule 2.1.2 2

4. A Junior Licence holder is required to have a parent or guardian, who holds an Annual Speedway Australia Licence, with them whilst at a Race Meeting Rule 2.2.9 5. Late nominations: Late nominations will be accepted up to close of scrutineering at 3pm on Saturday 5 th January 2019 Late nominations received after Friday 12 th December 2018 and before 6pm on Wednesday 2nd January 2019 will be required to pay the Late Nomination fee but will be included in the draw. Late nominations received after 6pm on Wednesday 2nd 2019 and before 3pm on Saturday 5 th January 2019 will be required to pay the late nomination fee and start ROF in all heats. 6. Emailed entries with Credit/Debit Card/EFT payment accepted. Emailed entries with cheque/money order payment MUST be followed up with the original and cheque/money order by mail, and received within 7 days, or a late nomination fee will be levied no exceptions 7. Scratching s must be notified to Qld Title Manager, Kaye Arthur (0408 766 651) before 6pm on Wednesday 2nd January 2019. Failure to do so will incur a penalty. 8. Tow money will be forwarded directly into the nominated Bank account, usually within 28 days of completion of the Title event, after a full clearance has been given by the Chief Steward / Chief Scrutineer for the event. 9. All drivers must complete the relevant ABN Statements on the attached nomination forms you will not receive your Prize /tow money if this section is not completed. Please note that all, prize, tow or appearance money is stated in gross amounts. Where applicable 1/11th becomes the GST proportion liable. 10. Engine sealing is mandatory in SSA Junior Sedans. 11. One Way Communicators are mandatory competitor to supply own One Way Communicator. 12. The use of Transponders is mandatory. 13. Post Title race checks are to be done at a time and place as directed by the Title Chief Scrutineer. 14. All Title positions will remain unofficial until all post title race checks have been carried out to the satisfaction of the Title Chief Scrutineer. 15. Competitors are reminded of the Speedway Sedans Queensland and Speedway Sedans Australia Code of Conduct and the requirement to abide by both. 16. Speedway Sedans Qld reserves the right to accept or reject any nomination 17. By signing the nomination form for this event I understand that the nominated driver and his/her pit crew may appear in visual media (i.e. photographs, video footage) that is undertaken inside the speedway complex and that it remains the property of the media personnel involved. I also agree to any visual media involving the nominated driver and his/her pit crew to be used by the associated media personnel and/or the Speedway Sedans Qld and Gympie Saloon Car Club /Mothar Mountain Speedway. 3
