POST RACE REMINDER FOR ATHLETES Please remind your athletes that we will encourage and help them move into and through the finish chute as quickly as possible after they cross the finish line. Our goal is to keep the finish line clear and protect each athlete by moving them out of the way and into the chute once they finish as quickly as possible. Although we are using chip timing we still are using the finish chute as our back-up system in case we have any issues with the chip timing. POST RACE CHIP COLLECTION Coaches it is your responsibility to collect the race chips from your athletes upon the completion of their race(s). In your packet is a zip-lock bag to place all chips in and return them to the packet pick-up table. Place your high school boys chips in one bag and your high school girls chips in another bag. Same with the junior high race chips. There will be a bucket at the registration table to place girls race chips and a bucket to place boys race chips take them to the table and put them in the appropriate bucket. There will be a $20 charge per chip for any unreturned or missing chips, billed directly to your athletic department.
