Lincoln-Way Marching Band The LWMB is the all-district marching band made up of students from all three L-W schools There are two performance levels in the LWMB: Football Band Performances include parades and football games. Lower time commitment, and a great experience for the student who does it all! Competitive Band The full LWMB experience! Includes parades, football games, and competitive performances. Students are required to be at band camp and all rehearsals, but the rewards and memories are wonderful and endless!

December 27, 2018: Departure from Chicago/Arrive Southern California AM Load school buses; depart for a Chicago Area Airport AM Arrive at the Chicago Area airport and be met by your BRT Airport Greeter AM/PM Arrive Southern California Load motor coaches; depart for Santa Monica PM Spend some time exploring Santa Monica Beach Santa Monica's stunning beach is the city s greatest natural asset. Blessed with 3.5 miles of broad sandy coastline and more than 340 days of sunshine per year, Santa Monica serves as the perfect backdrop for the sun-kissed, fit California beach lifestyle. December 31, 2018: Knott s Berry Farm / New Year s Eve 7:30 AM Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel 9:00 AM Depart for Knott s Berry Farm Fun is always in season at Knott s Berry Farm. With dozens of rides, shows, roller coasters and attraction in five themed areas, there is always something for everyone PM Lunch in the park (meal voucher provided) Ride Silver Bullet- Knott s inverted coaster sends riders climbing to a height of 146 feet, then soaring back down with an initial drop of 109 feet. Riders will spiral, corkscrew, fly into a cobra roll, and experience overbanked curves finding themselves upside down six times including one vertical loop of 105 feet. Please contact your music director for the process to request those funds to be applied to your child s trip.
Student Trip Registration Summary Registering for the Trip Register in the Bob Rogers Travel IPS system by Wednesday, December 13, 2017. There is a Deposit due of $250 on Friday, December 15th to secure a spot on the trip. Registration, Trip payments, Payment plan Payment schedule and all payments are handled only by Bob Rogers Travel company. L-W #210, nor the LWMB, will not collect or process your payments. The LWMB will only assist in processing I.B.A. payments to the travel company.
Chaperones Chaperone Expectations Being a chaperone is a FULL TIME responsibility. You will be on duty the entire trip, assisting with the logistics and supervision of the students. We will only be taking an estimated 20-30 chaperones on the trip. Chaperones will be required to pay the same amount as the students. Are you interested in being a chaperone? Please complete the Chaperone Interest Form on the LWMB: Rose Parade website. The Commitment date for chaperones is NOT the same as the students. We will contact those who complete the form at a future date.

Financial Obligations
Financial Obligations Payment Methods Bob Rogers Travel will process/collect all trip payments Use of a Debit/Credit card is required; no personal checks I.B.A. Individual Bank Account You cannot use I.B.A. funds to pay the Deposit. After the Deposit, you can use I.B.A. funds to pay for the entirety of the trip cost. Each school offers many options for fundraising! Each one is an opportunity for students to raise their own funds to pay for the trip!
I.B.A. Fundraisers @ Your Campus What is an I.B.A.? Each student has an Individual Bank Account (IBA) with the local Music Boosters organization, and a portion of the profits from certain fundraisers are credited to the student s account. These funds can then be used to pay department costs, fees, and TRIP EXPENSES, etc. Each year, thousands of dollars are raised through the various L-W I.B.A. fundraisers!

Annual Car Wash @ Your Campus Students can solicit Pre-Wash Pledges throughout the community before the Car Wash Date event. Each pledge grants the recipient a Ticket to be used on the Wash Date. Pre-Wash Pledges received by students are credited to their IBA accounts. Students who obtain pledges but do not participate at the Car Wash event will forfeit a percentage of their pledges to the General Booster Fund.
