We are pleased to announce that Dr. Foose will be recognizing our Wind Ensemble for their selection to the National Concert Band Festival this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Howard County Board of Education meeting. The Wind Ensemble is one of 24 bands selected by application from across the nation to perform in Indianapolis, IN. They are the only band representing Maryland and we are the only school from Maryland to be selected twice (2011, 2016). We appreciate Dr. Foose's support for their work and success! No need to sign up just show up! ARL Shadow Day The Applications and Research Lab (ARL), in partnership with Atholton High School, invites students to participate in the annual Shadow Day activities. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover the ARL. Current 10 th graders may choose specific programs to explore on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 17 and 18. Current 9 th graders are invited on Thursday, November 19. Students will ride the ARL bus from Atholton HS to the ARL and back, and as a result, will miss their regularly scheduled first and second period classes.
