Gymnasts ages 25-34 get one Mulligan dollar, 35-44 get two, and 45+ get three. Not enough? Buy more at the competition ($10 each). All proceeds go toward Multiple Sclerosis research through MS Canada. Give these to the judges and they will look the other way that time that you had two dismounts on the beam, took an extra warm-up vault, extended the boundaries of the floor, needed some help getting above the rings, etc. AWARDS This year, I am happy to announce that awards are sponsored by a local brewery, NICKEL BROOK. ****** NO AWARDS CAN BE CONSUMED IN THE GYM ****** That's why we go out afterwards, so save it for the hotel/home. Seriously. GYMNAST GIFTS All competitors will receive a t-shirt (assuming you signed up before the deadline).
A WORD FROM THE MEET DIRECTOR I have organized this competition to promote the continuation of gymnastics, so relax, put some routines together, relax, and have fun (and relax). If in doubt, compete; you ll regret it if you don t. This year's new trampoline category should be fun. I have Denis Vachon organizing this event and he is very excited to be able to keep all you trampolinists bouncing past retirement. I try my best to organize the competition at the lowest price possible without compromising on the parts that make this evening fun. The location has been moved to the Oakville Gymnastics Club with this is mind. Also, I am happy to be able to include Burlington's own Brewery, NICKEL BROOK, as our very first sponsor. They have given us all of the awards at a great price to help keep the costs low. Please enjoy their products responsibly and visit their brewery (www.nickelbrook.com) or the LCBO to enjoy more of their beer. As a master competitor since 2000, I have had way too much fun in this category. I would like to thank the Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club and Gymnastics Energy for hosting such great competitions and for being the inspiration for this fun-filled evening. I hope that this championship can be a good complement to those events. Sincerely, Eric Laurin Why quit when you can become a master?
