Archery N.I. FIELD AND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018 Venue Movilla High School Donaghadee Road Newtownards BT23 7HA Co. Down Date Saturday 8 th December 2018 Status Round World Record World Archery 18m Fees Entry fee: 20.00 Closing date Entries will close on Saturday 1st December 2018 at 8.00pm Competition Information Event Timings Session 1: Registration: 8.00am Equipment Inspection: 8.00am 8.30am Practice: 8.30am (an open number of arrows shot within the regulated 2minute period) Competition: Shooting will commence at conclusion of practice. Session 2: Registration: 11.00am Equipment Inspection: 11.00am 11.30am Practice: 11.30am (an open number of arrows shot within the regulated 2minute period) Competition: Shooting will commence at conclusion of practice. Head-2-Head Commencement: 2.00pm (Approx) Event Format WA 18m, 60 arrows, 20 ends. Archers will be assigned to target groups with each group shooting in 2 details. 3 arrows are to be shot per end within the regulated 2- minute time period. Electronic timing will be used throughout the event and archers should be familiar with the timings. All bosses are of the danage type.
Some Information to think about Perpetual Trophies "Could anyone holding a perpetual ANI Senior Indoor trophy please return it to Lough Cuan Bowmen on or before the 8th December 2018. Titles and trophies will be awarded strictly for the category that you've entered. For example, if you enter as a master recurve you can win the master recurve title and trophy only, and not the senior title and trophy." GDPR In submitting your entry to the competition, the following information will be collected and shared with tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors for example, target lists and results may be published: First Name, Surname, Bow style, Shooting classification, Email, Club (and ID), University (and ID), Round (unless defined by age), Disabled (Y/N), Disability info. Drug Testing Record Status Shoots will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply: if they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a positive result. Allergies There will be an archer with a severe nut allergy in attendance at the shoot so we would request that you do not bring nuts or products containing nuts to the shoot. Photography In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Policy, those who wish to take photographs or video at this event are to register with the Tournament Secretary at registration. Unauthorised photography is not permitted. Official photographs may be taken on the day and these may be used for ANI/LCB publicity purposes, including web site and social media sites. Car Parking Free car parking will be available at the venue. Smoking No smoking (including e-cigarettes and VAPE cigarettes) is permitted inside any part of the venue. If approaching from Newtownards, turn right into Abbey Road and the entrance to the school is the first turn on the left. The Host Club Lough Cuan Bowmen is an archery club based in Newtownards, Co. Down. The Club was founded in 1986 and promotes archery as a competitive and recreational sport. We practice both field and target archery and as a club our archers host 'have-ago' events for Youth groups, Corporate Events, Church Groups, Schools, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Local Fairs. We run frequent classes for beginners who want to experience the sport of archery under the supervision of a qualified coach. Archers practice Field as well as Target archery in all styles - Long-Bow, Traditional, Recurve and Compound and several are members of other archery societies and our archers hold awards from local, national and even world championship events.
