THE DEVIL S VICE Saturday, October 11, BBC One Wales, 11.10pm After a near-death experience, a young woman becomes convinced that her home is haunted by an evil entity that is determined to destroy her. Inspired by true-life events The Devil s Vice tells the story of Susan Phillips who has it all - the good looking husband, the charming old house in the country, and the career to die for. To crown it all, she is pregnant with twins. Susan believes her life couldn't be more perfect until, for no apparent reason, she suffers a senseless, horrific fall, in which she loses her unborn babies. Whilst at home recovering from her injuries, Susan is troubled by strange noises, eerie incidents and terrifying dreams. Convinced her house is haunted by a malevolent poltergeist, Susan sets out discover its identity. As Susan begins to uncover the truth, she unravels a tale of true horror, and must stand up to it or risk being destroyed by ancient insidious evil as old as mankind itself. Siân Pitman LUCY OWEN: WORKING MUM Monday, October 13, BBC One Wales, 8.30pm Lucy Owen is best known as the face of BBC Wales Today and X-Ray, but she is also a mum. Like hundreds of thousands of women across Wales, she balances the demands of work and parenthood - and feels like she is falling short at both. In this moving, and sometimes inspiring film, Lucy sets out across Wales to meet mothers, children and experts to find out how people cope, and ultimately whether the need to work actually damages children in the long run. Lucy talks to single mum Bethan Lewis from Glyncorrwg who is not only bringing up three children but is also juggling three different jobs. She talks to Uzo Iwobi from Swansea, whose children are at university, and asks whether she has any regrets about the work decisions she made while her children were growing up. And how did Mum of The Year Sam Weaver from Llysfaen get her prestigious title? At the end of her journey Lucy meets with Dr Justine Howard from Swansea University to find out if being at work is really harming her son s development. Lucy Owen: Working Mum is part of the Real Families season. Stephen Morgan
SEX, LOVE AND CWTCHES Tuesday, October 14, BBC One Wales, 10.35pm Sex, it seems, sells. Billboards, books, TV, films and the internet are full of it - we ve never lived in more sexualised times. And yet, according to the most comprehensive survey of British sex lives, we re having less sex now than we did 25 years ago. The National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles (NATSAL) - which has spoken to nearly 50,000 people across three surveys in 1990, 2000 and 2010 - has found that, although we may be younger having sex for the first time, people are having more sexual partners and enjoying a real smorgasbord of sexual experiences, we re also having less sex. The programme looks back over the last five decades to see what has shaped and defined our attitudes to sex and our sex lives to understand why it s now losing its appeal and slipping down our priorities. Sex, Love and Cwtches is part of the Real Families season. Stephen Morgan

POBOL Y CWM AT 40 Friday, October 17, BBC Two Wales, 8.30pm #PobolYCwm Pobol y Cwm is the BBC s longest-running television soap opera. Having first hit screens in 1974, it has endured four decades of TV taste and trends, moved channels, provoked national debate and outrage. Over the years, there have been storylines around cot death, a randy school teacher and, memorably in 1998, a lesbian love affair that featured an on-screen kiss - completely new territory for S4C at the time. Pobol Y Cwm at 40 also steps back in time to show the groovy style transformations the series has undergone: in fashions, signature music and title sequences. And the actors, writers and producers who created Pobol s seminal moments give the inside story on its colourful history. Gwawr Jones
