Rules and Information Format: 45 hole Flighted Team Match Play. Teams will play a nine- hole match against each team in their flight. Each match will play all 9 holes. Cumulative points will determine the flight winner. Flights: Flights of 6 teams. The flights will be determined by team handicap. If there is a tie, the team with the lowest handicap player will be put in the lower flight. Some Flights may have 5 teams based on the number of teams signed up. Handicaps: All play will be net. The player with the lowest handicap in the group will play as scratch and the rest of the group will play as the difference of their handicap and the low man in the group. Strokes will be given according to how they fall on the scorecard for a 18 hole match. Scoring: Each match is worth ten points. Each match will play all 9 holes. A team earns one point by winning a hole, if neither team wins the hole, each team will be awarded half of a point. The winning team of each match will receive a bonus point for the victory. In the case of the flights with 5 teams, each team will play 1 nine hole match strictly for net best ball score. Scoring will be tallied in relation to par. Points will be awarded as follows: 1 st = 6 points, 2 nd = 5 points, 3 rd = 4 points, 4 th = 3 points, 5 th = 2 points. All ties in this format will be split. Ties: Ties within the flight will be determined by head to head winner, and if still tied, an alternate shot sudden death playoff. If still tied, there will be a chip off. All players will chip off with the closest chip winning the playoff. Shootout: The winner of each flight qualifies for the shootout. If less than 10 flights, then the remaining slots will be filled by the second place teams with the most points. In case of a tie, the first tie breaker will be points earned on Sunday. If still tied, there will a chip off. For all chip offs, all team members will chip. The closest ball from each team will count. The team(s) closest to the hole will advance. Teams will receive appropriate handicaps for the shootout. If the last 2 teams tie on the last hole, they will continue to play 18 until a winner is determined. Tees: Play will be from the BLUE tees.

Rules: USGA Rules of Golf will govern all play, except for a local rule, which states that a player may take relief from an imbedded rock that is deemed to potentially cause damage to the player or his club. Ø Electronic range finders are permitted that measure distance only. Ø Any newly sodded areas are considered ground under repair. Ø Burrowing animal holes are considered ground under repair. Ø 14 club rule is in effect. Ø If a ball comes to rest on the liner of the bunker you may take free relief IN the bunker no nearer the hole. Ø Rock Rule is IN effect (see above). Ø Putts can be conceded during the competition. Ø Rock Rule is in effect. Rock rule definition is as follows: If your ball comes to rest on or near a rock where playing the shot will risk injury or damage to your equipment, the rock rule is in effect. Relief is nearest point of relief and one scorecard length, with no penalty. Relief must be no closer to the hole and cannot change line of play. This does not apply to the embedded boulders on #2, #7, and #14. Does NOT apply in any hazard. Anytime you take relief, you must come to agreement on the point of relief with your opponents. Ø If a player has a question about a rule, he should play 2 balls and inquire to the Rules committee after the round. The Rules committee consists of Ryan Hodge and Max Kleinman.
