2014-15 Guadalupe County 4-H CALENDAR This printable calendar is easy to download and the perfect document to record your dates on for recordbooks and other applications! This will be updated throughout the year whereas the yearbook calendar will now! Educational programs of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran status, or national origin. The Texas A&M University System, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the County Commissioners Courts of Texas Cooperating

Welcome to Guadalupe County 4-H!! Dear 4-H Families, If you are brand new to the 4-H program, then welcome to Guadalupe County 4-H! If you are returning for another great year, then we welcome you back! We have a lot of great opportunities lined up for the 2014-2015 4-H year! There have been some changes to our program here in the county and at the state level as well! 4-H is one of the nation s largest youth organizations, with several thousand members involved in Guadalupe County 4-H clubs and groups, school enrichment projects and special interest programs. Around 300 volunteers provide guidance to the over 550 4-H members through project work and club activities throughout the county. 4-H is the youth component of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, which is part of the Texas A&M University System. 4-H is definitely a family affair, so we encourage the entire family to get involved, it becomes part of your everyday life! You will get out of 4-H what you put into it, so learn everything you can and don t hesitate to ask questions. It s hard to know what answers to give you until we hear your questions. Believe me, even extension agents have questions! This calendar will be updated monthly to record the most up to date information for the year! Be sure to check out our website (http://guadalupe.agrilife.org) & Facebook page (http://facebook.com/ guadalupecounty4h) for this Yearbook, the monthly newsletters and countless other resources. We also now have a Instagram for our 4-H program at @guadco4h Best wishes for a fantastic 4-H year. We have a lot of new county wide projects starting this year; we are looking many new opportunities! I look forward to seeing you at events throughout the year, meeting you if I have not yet, and working with you to continue to make the best better! Sincerely, Matthew J. Miranda M.Ed.
