From the Club House It's hard to believe January is over and we are moving into February! We hope everyone survived the snow storm! In spite of the bad weather we still had many people enjoying the facility. There were football and basketball parties as well as business meetings, classes, and parties. We are so pleased so many of you are really utilizing everything the club has to offer! Make your reservation now for Valentine's Day. Dinner reservations will begin at 4pm. Come out and enjoy delicious food in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere with no lines! We will also be having a kid's party so no need to worry about a babysitter. Keep us in mind for any of your banquet needs. We would be happy to cater events for your place of business as well. And don t forget Super Bowl Sunday! We can whip up trays for your party or for you to take to a party you are attending. No need to wait until the last minute to meet your minimum, enjoy it now! MENS GOLF Pro Shop and game room hours for February will be Thursdays starting at 11:00 am - 6:00 pm; Fridays 11:00 am -?; Saturdays 10:00 am -6:00 pm; and Sundays 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. If the weather improves to the point we can run golf carts we will open on off days too. If you are in question about whether we can run carts due to good weather, please feel free to call ahead. WOMEN S GOLF ASSOCIATION OF BCC 2015 Women's Golf Association of BCC The members of the Women s Golf Association met in January to begin planning the 2016 Golf season. Attending the meeting were President, Kathy George, Vice- President, Rita Robbins, Secretary-Treasurer, Becky Cropp, Becky Fresa, Mary Ann Renzelli and Gloria Hawkins. The ladies decided that Opening day would be on Tuesday, April 26. We will start the day at 9:00 a.m. with a breakfast and will hold our annual 9-hole scramble beginning at 10:00. Regular Tuesday play will begin the following week on Tuesday, May 3 with tee off at 9:00 a.m. Please meet in the ladies locker room around 8:30. The ladies hope to have the par/birdie tree again this year and the ringer board for the most improved golfer. The date for the Women s member/guest will be Tuesday, June 14. Watch the newsletters for more details as plans for the big event begin to take shape. If you would like to attend, begin the search for the women you want to ask to the event as your guests. You may bring one guest or make up your own foursome by inviting three guests. More details to follow in coming months. Women s Golf Clinics will be taught by V.J. again this year. They will be held on Thursday mornings at 10:00 beginning May 5 and will continue through the month of May. The ladies are looking forward to putting the winter behind us and hitting the links soon! From the Superintendent The snow dumped and the course was covered in white. But soon it will be green again, so keep wishing for warmer weather. I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine s Day! Steve KIDS CLUB It s a VALENTINE S DAY party! While the adults enjoy a Valentine Dinner on Sunday, February 14, we will have a kids Valentine party going on at the same time. Please bring a box of valentines. We will also be decorating cupcakes to take home to your favorite Valentine or keep to enjoy yourself.
