The Beta Club Canned Food Drive The Beta Club Canned Food Drive will begin on Monday, November 26th. All FMS students CAN participate in this worthy cause. Last year FMS collected cans and cash that totaled 7354 food items. Stay tuned for more details.

Attention anyone interested in supporting Beta Club! Please bring in bags of hats, gloves, and scarves. Put two items (hat, gloves, scarf) in a ziplock bag. Make sure you write your name on the bag with a marker. Put your bag in the bin in Mrs. Zinnen's room, room 235. If you are in Beta Club, make sure you check your name off the list hanging above the bins. Mrs. Zinnen would like to have one round of blessing bags by November 21st, so she can deliver them to Wilcox and Matheny-Withrow. STUDENTS, DON'T FORGET!
1st Night Dance - The Turkey Trot Dance The 2018 Turkey Dance is today, from 6pm-8pm. Tickets will be sold for $3 the day of the dance at lunch and at the dance. This dance is for current FMS students only. There will be a no dance list that will be posted today. Anyone who has a buddy room or a referral between 11/8 and 11/16, will be unable to attend the dance. Please work on showing that good behavior, Falcons!
6th Grade Boys Basketball News The 6th grade Falcons play tomorrow vs. JMS. The B game begins at 8:00, with the A game to follow at 8:45. All games are played at Ball Charter School. Good Luck!!!
7th Grade Boys Basketball Update The Falcons faced off against the Eagles of Bloomington Evans. Both teams appeared to be in a stalemate after one half, with a score of 17-16 in favor of Bloomington. Strong second half efforts from Seth I, Jaylene S., and Faizaan S. temporarily gave the Falcons the lead, but it quickly slipped away as the Eagles were able to secure the victory, 48-40. Seth I, Jaylene S led the way for Franklin with 12 points each, Shaikh with 6. Good luck to the Falcons as they travel to Bloomington tonight for an away game!
8th Grade Boys Basketball Update The Franklin boys basketball team had their home opener vs Evans Eagles. After falling behind 27 to 18 at half the Falcons had a great second half and had numerous chances to take a lead. The Falcons ended up falling just short as a last second 3 missed, leaving the final score at 41 to 38. R. Hurd had 18 points while E. Pruitt and J. Brown had 8 and 7.
7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball News: The FMS girls battled against Blessed Sacrament on Wednesday night. The seventh graders lost 37-16. The 7th graders were led by Emma S. with 6 points, Rayne T. and Olivia D.each with 4 and Zakiyah L. with 2 points. The 8th grade lost 36-11. The 8th graders were led by TeTee J. with 6 points, Rayne T. with 3 points, and A Jah F. with 2 points.
7th Grade Girls Basketball News: Good Luck Lady Falcons! The 7th grade Falcons take on JMS at 10:15 a.m. in the first round of Regionals tomorrow at Glenwood Middle School. With a win, Franklin would play LMS at 1:15 in the semi-final game. The Regional Championship game is Monday at 5:30.
