HOMER HAPPY: The Fisher Cats lead the Eastern League with 21 homers, including four for Jake Fox and five for Ryan Schimpf, who holds the individual lead. They are 11-3 when they homer but just 1-7 when the fail to go deep. 5-for-5: Hobson s career night on Saturday made him the eighth Fisher Cat to reach five hits in a game. He tallied five singles Saturday, besting his high of four hits, something he accomplished three times in his career, most recently at the end of the 2013 season. He had just 3 hits in his previous 19 at-bats entering the game. RUNS IN BUNCHES: It s taken 17 games for the Fisher Cats to reach the same number of double-digit scoring games as they had all of 2014.
