Waaw-Madd If a Dhammah-letter is followed by a Waaw, the sound is stretched twice. The Waaw here is Waaw-madd. م و ب و و و Notice the sign on Waaw! It is called Sukoon. We will learn more about it later on.
How to spell it? م و ب و Maa waaw Dhammah moo; baa waaw Dhammah boo; We don t need to spell for every case. Just look at the Kasrah and say it with e sound. 8
