Cassell RE: STATE CHAMPIONSHIP CHEER COMPETITION FACILITY INFORMATION DATE: SEPTEMBER 22, 2018 Below you will find important information regarding the Mabee Center at Oral Roberts University, 7777 S. Lewis Ave. Tulsa, OK 74171 instructions for your arrival. Please follow these instructions. Admission: $7.00 for students and adults. Tickets can be purchased with a credit card for $8.00. The ENTRANCE for cheerleaders and coaches will be Participant entrance through the West Door. 1. Buses can park in lots A, B C or D in the lined parking spaces. 2. Spectators: tickets will be sold in the North entrance only; you may enter the South side of the arena if you have a ticket. 3. ADA/Accessibility entrance is on the northeast side of the building. Accessible parking is in Lot A. Walkers, wheelchairs and strollers must be checked into guest relations, they cannot occupy a seat unless seated in the designated accessible seating areas. 4. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the building. 5. Concessions will be open on both north and south concourses. 6. No signs, noise makers, glass vases, tripods or monopods are allowed in the building. 7. Each team is allowed to use the large cast rooms on the west end for final preparation, and restroom facilities. Please try to use the restrooms in these areas instead of the lobby restrooms, it helps on traffic control. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN THE DRESSING ROOMS. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN PERSONAL PROPERTY. 8. Participants must sit in the end zone area of the arena instead of the side areas. 9. When your squad is ready to warm-up for the competition, you will be directed to the warm up area to prepare for the competition. The manager in the warm-up room will direct squads to the next stage of the warm up. Please follow the schedule EXACTLY; timing is everything in running this competition smoothly. We appreciate your cooperation. Teams will be provided individual times in the warm up rooms before their scheduled performance (schedule below). After your preparation is complete, you will enter the competition floor through the tunnel. You will exit the competition floor through the same tunnel. s from different classifications will face the opposite directions during the competition. We will be running two classifications in the first session; three classifications in the second session and two classifications in the final sessions simultaneously. Class 2A and 3A will perform in the first session, Classes 4A and Large and Small Co-Ed in the middle session and Class 5A and 6A will be the final session. Please pay close attention to the schedules. 10. COACHES, MAKE SURE YOUR TEAM IS IN THE WARM UP AREA AND READY TO GO AT THE TIME LISTED ON THE SCHEDULE. A time schedule is provided in this posting, please look it over and be in place to enter the warm up area. Remember, this is an approximate schedule, judges may take longer than planned, or other delays may make a difference in the scheduled time. 11. A full practice mat area will be provided in the warm up areas as well as the practice times available right before your performance time. There will be a tumbling strip mat available that each squad is assigned 6 minutes prior to their floor mat practice time. (Please refer to warm-up times included.) 12. There will not be a coaches meeting. If you have any specific questions or concerns you will need to contact Amy Cassell prior to the competition, acassell@ossaa.com, or at the site the day of the competition.

13. We will post results at the site following each awards presentation, and will post all results to OSSAA.com after the completion of the competition. Score sheets can be picked up on the competition floor immediately following your session. 14. Take Two Video, will take action pictures and video of the competition. Packages and information can be found below. Pictures and DVDs are available at the competition. 15. Re-Entry is not allowed at the Mabee Center. 16. Head coaches will receive three floor passes that must be worn for entrance to the competition floor. Only three coaches are allowed in the coaches box, no additional cheerleaders or coaches may enter the competition floor. 17. Please remind your fans in accordance with OSSAA Policy, no signs, banners, or noisemakers may be used by fans during the competition. Please refer to the OSSAA guidelines. For indoor activities: Boom boxes or any type of devise that plays music, sounds, or voices, and noise makers of any kind such as air horns, cow bells, etc. will not be allowed to function/operate. This will also apply to pregame/contest and post-game contest activities. This rule applies to both regular and post-season games/contest.
